I lived there for about 4 years and SoCal has a very high concentration of superficial, smug, and fake individuals. Probably more so than anywhere else in the country.

I'm already vaccinated, and it's not the message about vaccines that I have a problem with. But I hate when I see the government or politicians try transparent attempts at using celebrities to try and influence people to do things. Good or bad.

How an anime franchise worth BILLIONS of fucking dollars managed to get away with serving their fans up some C grade animation quality throughout the series I still have no idea.

Im currently in my late 20s, I would never pursue a 19 year old.

However if I met a chick who looked older and I found out after the fact that she was 19 I wouldnt really care.

Which actually happened to me once back when I was 25 on a trip to Myrtle Beach. Meet two girls at a bar, my friend hooks up with one and me the other, they tell us the next day they got into the bar with fake IDs and that theyre actually 19, meh.

If they where such good fakes that no one could tell without holding the shoe up and studying the most minor of details I wouldnt mind.

But anyone that knows shoes knows that most people can spot even generally well done fakes from a mile away. As someone who appreciates sneakers I just wouldnt feel comfortable showing off nice sneakers knowing that the only other people that would actually appreciate them know theyre fake.

Thats just me though. If someone else was cool with other sneaker heads knowing theyre fake I wouldnt fault them for it. Unless they where trying to flex and pretend theyre real.

Everyone needs hobbies, but there are plenty of gamers that spend all their time playing vidya games when their lives are in shambles and they should probably focus some attention on other aspects of their lives.

Video games is one of those rare addictive hobbies where because its so low energy and fun you can, and many people do, spend literal days at a time in front of the screen and just keep going. It can be dangerous in that regard and some people truly go overboard.

Its hard to do that with most other hobbies. Almost no one really plays basketball, exercises, wood works, gardens, paints, etc for 16+ hours a day.

Pretty sure Joe is a self proclaimed video game addict, so he is probably talking from the point of view of someone who went overboard with it and saw it was negatively affecting his life.
