I haven't been in college for 6 years, but I've decided to go back. I already have a BS in Business Administration and an MBA, but I've always thought of myself as an IT type person and have loved messing around with computers. So I decided to pursue a BS in CIT this past weekend and will start next week. I already have all the business requirements they require so I only need 12 CIT courses to finish. Maybe this will lead to an IT job working with networking, or hardware, or databases or something. I'm not really expecting to find a career in programming as that would require a CS degree and I'd need 20 courses to finish that.

Anyway, going back to school is gonna be really weird for me. I've worked full-time in an office doing research/compliance/and legal documents for so long. Kind of just fell into this job, but want to pursue something I know I will like better.

I used to drink it like strictly almost, then went on a no soda diet for about a year or so and lost a lot of weight. I drink it now but maybe only a couple times a week.

OCD, Social Anxiety Disorder, and General Anxiety.

I do ok except when in a very unfamiliar territory by myself or if something starts to go terribly wrong. For example, if I get very hypochondriac if something starts going wrong with me health-wise. Otherwise I'm just fine. The OCD doesn't bother me NEAR as much as when I was a kid. I haven't taken meds in 4 years. My doctor tried to put me back on meds a couple years ago when I was in his office like once a week for health stuff, but the phase passed and I've only been there like 4 times in the last 2 years. I still get incredibly anxious if I think something is wrong though.

Speaking of snus I have somewhat funny story.

So back when I was younger I started receiving Marlboro magazines, coupons, leaflets, etc. I have NO IDEA why I was getting these and I have never smoked, chewed tobacco, etc. They just started showing up one day and still continue to this day at my parent's place. My dad just gives the coupons to neighbors who do smoke.

Anyway, about a year or so after I started getting these leaflets in the mail I got a call from some guy who was conducting a survey on the use of tobacco, so I obliged him.

The conversation went a little like this:

Him: "How long have you smoked?"
Me: "Umm, I don't smoke"
Him: "Does anybody in your household smoke?"
Me: "Nooooo....."
Him: "Are you sure you don't smoke?"
Me: "Yeah, I'm pretty sure I don't smoke"
Him: "Chewing tobacco, vaping, nothing? Are you sure??"
Me: "Yeah, I don't do any of that, I'm positive."
Him: "Not even snus????!!!!!" (He said this like he was desperate that I tell him that I did some form of tobacco, like his life depended on it or something)

Now, lets pause here. I had never heard of snus in my entire life up until this point so I had no idea what the hell that was.

Me: "I don't even know what that is!!!"
Him: *silence*
Me: *hangs up phone*

I don't know why but I still find that exchange really hilarious.

Like 50% of the town I used to live in was on Meth. I worked at a bank and when they came to get their free government money it was the worst day ever. Some of them even had green teeth. Like actual green, not a dark yellow.

I agree on the bachelors basically being a HS diploma now. However, in the workforce employers value experience above anything else. Unless you go work for a college or something, then they value that diploma above anything else.

My girl uses the pill religiously and doesn't want children at all, but I still pull out every time.

I chew gum like 24/7 because I'm conscious about mine. I used to have SUPER bad breath and we found out it was because I had an abscessed tonsil so I got them removed. My breath is better (unless I eat something really raunchy), but I still am super conscious about it.

I get 2 weeks off around Christmas, but don't get any vacation time off (even on holidays) again until Memorial Day.

I've got a 2013 Altima with 72K miles and have had no issues with it so far. About a month ago a coworker said the idling was a little rough, but it didn't feel too serious to me. I've had to replace a coil pack on my previous car and THAT was a rough idle when it broke.

Anyway, I go to my car to leave for work and I turn it on and its idling with no issue. Everything normal.

I shift into reverse and it just jerks back a second and dies. All the interior lights are on, but the engine is off. I try again, same thing. I try to put it in drive and go forward, it does the same thing. Each time it does this the malfunction indicator light and battery light start blinking. Also the brake light is lit up. Surely its not the battery because the car stars and idles just fine.

I had to call a friend to come get me to take me to work after that.

Anybody know what the issue might be? I hope I'm not looking at like a grand here because I can't afford it.

I have a friend coming over this evening with a little diagnostic tool to see if it can give us a picture of what the issue might be.
