If there is alcohol in it, it is so faint as to almost not even be worth mentioning on the label. You'd have to drink your own weight in the stuff to even get a slight buzz.

Your body can't tell the difference between sugar from fruit or sugar from candy. The main advantage for fruit is that it has a lot of healthy stuff in addition to the sugar, not that the sugar itself is somehow healthy when in fruit but not when in candy.

That's not what you said earlier, but OK, let's just take what you're saying now.

Technically, different sugar products have different ratios of fructose. While all sugar is troublesome, fructose stresses the liver more than the others, so it's the least healthy one. Some fruits are high in fructose, so their sugar is actually less healthy than table sugar. Of course, American soft drinks use HFCS which is by definition also high in fructose, though not as quite as high as apples and pears. Yes, you heard right, the sugar in an apple is worse than the sugar in Pepsi. The apple has a good amount of fiber so it's still healthier, though.

I used to drink it like strictly almost, then went on a no soda diet for about a year or so and lost a lot of weight. I drink it now but maybe only a couple times a week.

Very rarely. My sugary drink of choice is iced tea/sweet tea (whatever you silly Americans call it).

If I want something carbonated, presidents choice makes a delicious flavoured carbonated water.

My calorie intake from beverages on a weekly basis is incredibly low though. I mostly just drink water, carbonated water, and tea (no cream, no sugar, no honey).

Not the same at all. Someone calling you a loser is the surest sign that they are the loser. Diabetes doesn't really work like that.
