I have an SN30 Pro+. It works really well on the Switch, and usually pretty well on the PC.

Recently though, I get a weird input problem on PC where it thinks I'm holding an input long after I've let it go. I think a recent firmware update screwed something up. I connect it with the 8bitdo adapter, and I tried updating that, too, but it still happens. Never happens on the Switch though.

People didn't react enough when it counted. I remained locked away in my apartment for nearly 3 months, leaving once every 2 or 3 weeks just to get groceries. If everyone had done that, this pandemic would have been over by June 2020 at the absolute latest.

But nope, selfish and stupid people refused to be mildly inconvenienced for the greater good. They had one challenge to rise to in their generation and they failed, so the rest of us have to pay the consequences along with them.

This pandemic only really has one way to end now: hospitals refuse admittance to those that are both unvaccinated and COVID positive. Ignorance is the only way out of this. Shouldn't be that fucking hard, ignorance is why we're still in the pandemic anyway.

This was done under the lie that the election results had been falsified. This was a deliberate attempt to weaken public faith in the democratic process, with the ultimate desired goal of instilling Trump as some form of dictator.

That was quite possibly the lowest point in the history of US democracy. A disturbing number of people still either openly celebrate or suspiciously downplay that event. There is no good moral justification in defending it at all.

Compared to the US, I was wrong, apparently low income countries have a higher vaccine acceptance rate. At 80% however, it's still lower than other wealthy countries like Canada, and still far too low to provide meaningful herd immunity.

Equitable vaccine access is not even close to being the biggest obstacle to improving herd immunity. It's crystal clear that every country on Earth has a large antivax population that will never get vaccinated. In fact, I'd bet it's even worse in developing countries. The WHO would be correct in their statements only if widespread antivax sentiments weren't a thing; unfortunately, they are.

Get the booster. Not getting it isn't going to magically make the global immunity situation any better, just like eating all the food on your plate isn't going to help solve world hunger.
