closest thing to mandela effect i've ever felt was whether dual-types existed in pokemon gen 1

could have SWORN they didn't exist till gen 2

Well, no. Its not just one person misremembering. Its when a majority of the people all misremember the same thing Which is a little different than one person misremembering something

So heres the thing about it.. how do things vanish, but the people who would have worked on those things would still have worked on them, right?

like the sinbad one for example, if the movie disappeared, what were sinbad and all the people who worked on the movie and the studio and the theaters and the people working on them.. why dont they remember? Or what were they doing if it disappeared?

Why can't large numbers of people misremember something? It's clearly happening. And, hell, mass hysteria is a thing afterall. And, again, human memory, not the most reliable thing in the world. And considering the prevelance of harmful gases in the environment and microplastics penetrating our brains, these mass hyseria events are probably only to get worse.

Also, First Kid, starring Sinbad came out the same summer as Kazaam.

Youre thinking of other dimensions as static. They exist. And thats it. Theres a MichaleCole in another dimension and you are you and they are them. But according to the theory, the dimensions crash into each other or whatever, so in your lifetime you could live through several different dimensions.

I never said it wasn't happening. What Im saying is its different than just remembering something. Its a large number, usually a majority, all misremembering something. And misremembering the same thing. Its a very odd occurrence. Which is why it has a name. And is different than just someone misremembering something Its also not mass hysteria

My guess would be worked on it. Working at the grocery store that sold it or eating it wouldnt be close at all Those are the people that made it. Though, it probably wouldnt be in grocery stores. Probably nice cream trucks

I've known it was Berenstain Bears since first grade, when I pronounced it how it's spelled and my teacher corrected me. People just misremember because it's not spelled the same way it's pronounced.

i believe there were a few early issues that spelled them the other way

Berenstain Bears one has an easy explanation on why people remember it the other way. Its a mix of what Ganon said, and people not really knowing how it was spelt, and seeing other people spell it the wrong way online, making them think its the correct spelling.

And to be fair, -stein is much more common than -stain

Considering one of the first pokemon you could get was Bulbasaur (poison/grass) and Pidgy (flying/normal) I have no clue how you missed that.

Hell no. But growing up I knew Sinbad for his show and two movie:

1) Genie movie
2) Movie where hes secret service or something

Now one of those movies have completely been wiped out of history.

Also, the Fruit Of The Loom did have a cornucopia. But I guess thats now false.

Finally, my friends know me for randomly quoting movies/shows when its appropriate. And Im not talking about just one line, Im saying full blown scenes. Even movies start to finish. Even if I only watched it once. Its my super power along with a strong sense of smell. With that said Gandalf said, Run, you fools! You even see his lips move in such a way that says, Run and not Fly. Those look very different orally.
