Yeah I love Alan Resnick.

The hole is so deep on This House Has People in it. Here's a great video diving into it.

He's also covered Unedited Footage of a Bear and Resnick's great weird youtube channel Alan Tutorial which itself is just a blast.

I've been meaning to watch that exact video, I just haven't sat down and done it just yet. I hear that it's a great look at how many layers it has though. I'll definitely need to check it soon.

I mean, a sexy vampire tends to be just a conventionally attractive person, just a bit pale and sometimes with fangs or pointy ears. Pretty clear winner.

The werewolf would get weird with the full moon thing.

Zombie...nah. Literally a dead person, and in most forms of media, tends to be just a moaning shambling mess that's literally falling apart. No thanks.

I do think it'd be better to leave her alive in a timeline, but I also think that they'll probably kill her again.

I'm not as familiar with the newer movies, but wasn't one of the main themes about how obsession keeps tearing her apart? I think that having Laurie die to kill Michael once and for all (until the next timeline) would be pretty thematically appropriate. Like if she almost dropped it and moved on after he seemingly dies, but she turns back after all and finishes him at the cost of her own life.

Or something.

Yeah, I hate to say it, but that number seems extremely dubious given how much higher it is than almost any other study.

Regardless, it is encouraging that more reliable numbers are still on the rise. People should never be ashamed to be themselves. When I figured out that I was gay, I had a lot of problems dealing with it because I grew up in a very conservative area, and it was still a bit more stigmatized, so I was scared to even tell my internet friends. It's changed so much in a short time, and if absolutely nothing else, it's so much easier to be out online these days.

I wish that they would have just left Nellie as manager for season 9. She was funny, even if she became more likable post-manager.

Either way, Andy/Erin was just really transparently trying to recreate Jim/Pam after the latter two were really stretched thin for storylines. Really, I think the show in general was a bit too desperate for relationship drama as a headliner, because it felt like some of it got really contrived.

Ace Attorney 3: Seeing the picture of Mia & Maya as kids at the very end of the trilogy, and knowing that that was what their mother had kept with her as a source of strength for all those years, that she never forgot them after seemingly abandoning them, and that she had willingly given up her life to protect Maya in the end was fucking tragic. I can't make it through the ending without crying, between that and Godot's fate.

Ace Attorney 6: Apollo finding out that his foster father had been dead during all of the events of the case in the middle of the trial and subsequently breaking down mid-trial was heartbreaking.

The TLDR is that Nomura is really, really bad at writing larger-scale stories and he thinks that revealing that like 5 different characters are actually all the same character through really, really convoluted anime bullshit is a brilliant twist.

Or "Hearts! Anime! Power of friendship! But darkness! Scary!"

...Or, the other alternative, just play KH1 for its dumb Disney-themed nostalgia and pretend that the rest of the series doesn't exist.

There were datamined files of announcer quotes for the following, per Reddit:

Garfield
Shredder
Jimmy Neutron
Plankton
Mr. Krabs
Squidward
Vlad Plasmius
Tommy Pickles
Zuko
Rocko

Notably enough, there are apparently a lot of assets in the game for Garfield & Shredder. Given that there are allegedly supposed to be two characters releasing shortly after launch, those two seem quite likely.

It's also worth noting that this isn't necessarily the full DLC list, hence the word "potential" in the title. It's quite possible that these are simply characters that they're roughly planning for depending on how the game sells, and wanted to prepare lines for in advance. They could always change, but it's at least interesting enough to be worth noting, especially since this feels like a roughly feasible list of full DLC for the game.

.....how is that any different than the way it is now. Unknowns will still be unknowns. Also wouldn't that actually give unknowns more of a chance since they could get "boosted" or whatever the fuck by the few viewers they have

What it boils down to is that, in extreme examples, it becomes a strict race to buy boosts to promote your streams. Smaller streamers who can't afford to compete in a buying race are just out of luck against those who can.

That's the problem. Paying to boost your own stream can easily become a buying race, which makes it even harder for unknown streams to get traction unless they can afford to keep up.

There's also the fact that the streamers don't actually directly make anything off of boosts. So paying into it is essentially just feeding Twitch unless you're one of the rare few who truly does make it.

Perhaps I'm being overly critical, but I'm really not fond of such a system. I don't really stream, but it still seems really shitty to those who do.

I'm not a fan. It's already very difficult for smaller streamers to get noticed, and this only makes that problem worse unless they can afford to buy their way into relevance.

I got a new computer fairly recently, and it's great in most everything, except it doesn't come with any version of Word aside from an online-only version. I'm really not a fan of typing on something like that for a long time, and doubly so because my internet is very unstable at my current place. I often write when my net goes down, so an online-only Word doesn't really do much for me. I also don't trust it in case I was typing something bigger when I had an outage or something, because my ISP is absolutely horrible.

Are there any good alternatives out there? I don't need anything mega fancy with a ton of features or anything. Just like, a few steps up from Notepad or something, ideally.

Yes, but with a different scam.

I recently applied for a position that sounded good. I couldn't find info on the company, so I was already wary, but I just kind of hoped that it was newer and applied regardless. I got a response (almost immediately, like within 20 minutes) telling me how excited they were about my resume. Problem being that the company that responded was totally different from the one that I had applied for.

I was able to find info about that company. It offers jobs for positions like public relations and marketing, but it's multi-level marketing, and they basically just task you to stand in front of buildings and sell shit.

Once I found out about that, I just didn't reply, but they hounded me, to the point where I had to block their phone number because they kept calling and texting. I actually checked my junk email something like a month after applying, and they were still trying to contact me about how excited they were to get me on board.

Pretty shitty.

It really is a shame that the Dawn Brigade units are severely underpowered, underdeveloped, and underutilized. Thanks to how the game constantly switches perspectives starting with Part 3, you end up with not much time to grow them as the game starts throwing more and more powerful enemies at you.

I really hope that RD gets a remake some day because of this.

Unit EXP scaling needs to be redone entirely, and the part 3 Dawn Brigade maps should be redesigned in order to improve the power scaling.

...I also ironically think the game as a whole needed a few more chapters, despite it being absurdly long already. The Crimean Royal Knights needed some extra chapters to do stuff as well given how bad availability is in that game. Calill is one of my favorites, but she takes so much favoritism to work, namely either hard focusing EXP with her or handing her a Paragon scroll. (Which I always do)
