RD is fun, despite it being a huge mess in design and balance.

Though, just by nature of tier 3 classes, anyone can end up really busted. I've done a RD hard run where my Meg ended up destroying worlds.

is he the actor who was gay irl, and his cast mates bullied him for it?

The whole situation was fucked up.

While it was originally believed that he had left the series due to insufficient pay, Yost later revealed in a 2010 interview that he left because he could no longer handle harassment by members of the production crew who targeted him over his sexual orientation. According to Yost, he was often called a (redacted), and the producers frequently questioned other cast members in private about his sexuality. Yost left late in the fourth season after a week of contemplation and thoughts of suicide instead of continuing work another six months into the second film. He stated that the co-workers involved with writing, filming, and producing the show considered him "not worthy" to be where he was and that he "could not be a superhero" because of his homosexuality.[4][5]
Scott Page-Pagter, a producer of the show starting with Power Rangers Zeo,[6] responded through TMZ that Yost actually left over a pay bonus being dropped but did not elaborate further or dispute any of Yost's claims about the outside reasons for leaving the show. Saban Entertainment made no official statement regarding the subject.[7] After Yost left the show, he attempted to change his sexual orientation with conversion therapy for two years. Eventually, he had a nervous breakdown that resulted in his psychiatric hospitalization for five weeks. After he checked out, he moved to Mexico for a year and eventually accepted his sexuality.[5]

I feel so bad for him. It sounds like they were awful to him.

Huh interesting. Who is this tweet/discord from?

I'm not familiar with them. I just had the info passed along to me by someone who plays the game, and it seemed worth passing on again. I don't personally play it, but my friend seems to be confident that it's a valid source.

Apparently there were also reports of people having issues prior to this.

I personally hated it.

I found the combat to be too watered-down compared to main Persona games.

I wasn't a huge fan of a chunk of the dungeon crawling which just seemed to go on way longer than it should. (Though your mileage may vary depending on if you already like EO-style gameplay)

Most of the characters were demolished by bad writing which reduced them to a few character traits that they would bring up constantly. Akihiko in particular got downright assassinated.

I did like the main plot of the game, at least. Almost all of the rest of it, though? Ehhh.

Third case is considered the worst of the "normal" cases in the duology, though the first two are also very weak for different reasons. The second game in general is a far better experience all around, though the third case from the first game does have a sort of part-two early on.

I disagree with that one, but maybe I'm just weird. GAA-3 was probably my favorite case in the first game, even before finding out more about it.

I have it tied with AA3 at the top of my list. I think AA3 just knocks the emotional impact out of the park as far as wrapping up an entire trilogy in a really satisfying way, while AAI2 is just wall to wall top tier cases with a fantastic twist at the end.

Yeah same I procrastinated hard because our top health officials in Canada are completely worthless and wouldnt give any relevant info. Above all else I just needed a vacation.

For me it was just bad timing with scheduling (I had a day set aside to get it back in June, but something came up and I wasn't able to get it at that point) and my car being broken and not being able to get a ride. It's been kind of frustrating just getting it, but at least I'm finally almost done with it all.

#2 was sort of forgettable and tried too hard to retread the original. It's not super old, but I've already forgotten most of it because it never really...tries to really do anything unique or super interesting.

#3 was genuinely good. I felt like it had some really good plot beats and told its own story. It was very different from the original, but I felt like it was a really solid story in its own right.

Major spoilers for 3:

The Pets episode was a huge gut punch and was a moment that stood up to some of the best moments in the original. The entire reveal with her motivation and then the dream with her staying before she coldly walks away was a very, very strong moment.

And also, #3 is strongly hinted to be an alternate world prequel to the original, which was in itself an interesting reveal and dynamic since it was otherwise so unrelated to the original.

Or how they release MVC3 and then UMVC3 a year later?

To be fair on that point, I believe that the MvC3 situation had a lot to do with some really, really screwy rights issues. MvC3 Vanilla and Ultimate actually came out like nine months apart, but it wasn't actually entirely Capcom's fault.

I don't recall the details, but I had a lot of insider info in the FGC around that time, and I believe it came down to some really wonky contract decisions that didn't let Capcom do additional DLC beyond what was originally done, and which gave them a really small window to do an update like that. I think Marvel gave them the okay for one additional release within a short window, partially to push upcoming movies at the time.

I wish I remembered the full situation, but it's been a decade and I'm blanking on some of the details by now. But for that particular update, I believe it was more on Marvel's end at the time. DLC was already fairly prevalent by then, but I believe it wasn't feasible for MvC3 at that point.

It's dubbed as long range specialist which is appropriate since she's at garbage at fighting(relative to other Ninja).

They acknowledge she was a bad Ninja in Boruto by having her retire early to run a dying shop.

I think she was canonically supposed to be a solid fighter. It's just that, like almost everyone in the series, Kishi had no idea what to do with her. A lot of characters were presented as competent fighters with cool abilities, but they rarely if ever get to actually show it on screen.

Wut? Are you thinking with your dick?

Nope, I'm gay.

I think her weapon master stuff gave her some of the most potential in the series to have interesting and creative fights. Filler stuff actually gave her some fun fights, but...well, it's filler. She also had a fun personality and respectable goals.

It's just that the canon series did flat-out nothing with her. She was a really fun character in what little screentime she did get, it's just that there...wasn't a lot of that. It really sucks.

That entire team got screwed over.

Lee worked hard but never amounted to anything.
Tenten was one of the most interesting characters in the entire series but got approximately half of a fight in canon.
Neji just fucking dies.

I don't think Kishi had any idea what to do with the entire group.

I've been posting these sporadically in the FE general, but I finished the series and figured there might be a few Fire Emblem fans who might have a bit of interest outside of that. I did a Sacred Stones ironman run for fun and just finished the series, and I figured I'd share the link in a new thread in the off chance that there's a bit of interest.

The full series should be available in the playlist if anyone wants to check it out. I made a lot of mistakes with both gameplay and general production, but I had a lot of fun with it. If anyone has any interest, or knows anyone else who might be interested, I'd definitely appreciate the support. I've never really tried doing a full series like this before, but it was a lot of fun to do it, so hopefully someone can have some fun with it. Maybe.
