Only finished episode 1 so far but it feels a lot more organic than LiS. Chloe and Rachel have better chemistry than Max and Chloe, too. Although, that was probably the point in LiS 1, that they had drifted too far apart.

I usually like to post a topic on CE when I finish a game, so youll probably see it. That being said, I like to put a good amount space in between playing a game of the same genre, to cleanse the palate a bit. Im currently playing Rhapsody: A Musical Adventure, a short+easy ps1 rpg with a grid -based battle system. I wouldnt really call in an SRPG. Its super cute and funny, Atlus USA has really never failed a localization job, even way back in 1999

Played Jill on Hiking difficulty, which I assumed was Normal, but its actually Easy mode. It goes Very Easy, Easy, Normal. I was kind of annoyed to find that out. Im aware Jill/Chris have a few differences, so Ill definitely play as Chris in the future.

Richard died the first time, but after realizing it was possible to save him, I reloaded the save and was faster. The Assault Shotgun was a nice reward.

Yes I saved both Barry and Chris. I knew Wesker was the bad guy just from common knowledge, but the game really does a solid job making you suspect Barry.

For whats essentially a ps1 game, I was surprised how meaty the game was. I thought the game would take place mainly in the mansion, so I was surprised to realize that by the time you get the 4 death masks, youre only like 1/3 of the way through the game. Really happy with the length.

The game also does a great job with tension and suspense. I was aware going in that resource management and being careful is a big focus, but my butthole was clenched for 90% of the game lol. Even after clearing out the mirror hallway, I refused to go back if possible, and would be sweating buckets if I was forced to use it. The 3 window-breaking instances were also pretty scary, with the Dogs, the 4 zombies near the washroom upon return, and the 2 Hunters near the East save room.

Also I wanted to mention that in real life I now have an involuntary physical response to seeing a Jerry can. Im not even joking lmao, I breathe a huge sigh of relief and relax my body without even thinking about it

Kenneths Video was without doubt the most disappointing part of the entire game, like wtf. Zero payoff. The whole ending portion as soon as you find Wesker and Tyrant is kind of rushed, I feel like they couldve elaborated a bit more. I get that Wesker (or his dad?) was an Umbrella scientist, but I dont really understand his goals still. Also, Lisa Trevor jumping into the abyss is the last time we see her, right? That seemed kind of inconclusive also tbh.

Amazing game all around though. Also, because of the fixed camera angles and changing perspectives, tank controls work perfectly. I have no idea why people complained about those, it makes more sense than the analog sticks 90% of the time

Decided to go with Rhapsody, seems light and easy, exactly what Im looking for, thanks @Middle_hope ! Ill do my own research, but do you reccomend the ps1 version or the DS one? Also wishlisted Fae Tactics and Ambition of the Slimes, never heard of those two before.

For those asking, Ive played most of the Fire Emblem franchise other than the Radiant games and 4/5. Ive played the first 2 Advance Wars games, still need to play Dual Strike and Days of Ruin. Love the masterful level design of those first 2 games, though. Tactics Ogre is another big name I havent played yet, but Im just looking for something breezier at the moment. Thanks everyone.

Hey Im playing REmake too right now! You end up getting more than enough handgun ammo so dont worry. You get a solid amount of shotgun ammo and grenade launcher ammo too as long as youre not using them all the time. That being said, though, if a zombie is easy to avoid (like the one above the dining room, on the second floor), dont bother attacking them, just avoid them. Also, if you feel like you wont be backtracking in a certain area then feel free to either avoid the zombies or leave them dead.

Any areas youre coming back to often, youll definitely want to be a safe zone. Make sure you kill and burn the zombies around the 2 typewriter/itembox locations, youll be going there often.

Made it back to where I was originally, more or less. I did a lot more in a lot less time, and used less resources. Nice.

Got the acid rounds this time and also picked up 2 of the death masks. Only one other than the snake boss is the one guarded by the plant. One of the achievements for this game is beating it in under 3 hours, which I was amazed anyone could even do that. But game knowledge and familiarity with the mechanics goes a long way, and it seems more feasible.

Do chickens not just lay eggs without interaction with a rooster?

Also can't you just make a cow pregnant to produce milk artificially

how do you suppose the cows become pregnant. If forceful insemination happened to women what would we call that. Imagine being r***d, having the child be born, snatched away from you to become veal, or a dairy calf, or whatever, and then being r***d again with no downtime inbetween. What a life.

As for my reply to the post about backyard hens, in a conversation about the mass consumption and production about eggs, giving an anecdote about how ethically-sourced backyard eggs are a thing as is like saying yeah I knew this one Nazi, but he was a great guy otherwise!. Its a bit dismissive to just point out isolated examples vs the big picture.

How do you produce your eggs

I dont. You said it as if everyone gets their eggs from backyard hens and thats not the case at all. 99% of eggs are coming from factory farms with terrible conditions.

Paragon21XX posted...
They should. Coprophagia is the best way vegans can get essential vitamins such as B12 without resorting to buying supplements.

By that logic everyone would need to. The b12 found in meat and milk etc are given via supplementation to the animals, not naturally-occurring due to sterilization. Its given to them so they dont die from deficiency. The b12 in their flesh and by-products are basically sloppy seconds. B12 added to plant milks and other products are given as a supplementation for the person eating it, not the animal behind it. If anything, the most natural sources of b12-producing microorganisms would be fresh picked vegetables from the farmers market.
