Ive never seen any Mad Max movie, is that a theme in them? Why does this trope get used and what is it supposed to mean/represent?

To broaden the trope, how about pieces of media where characters worship a piece of technology from a bygone era, which they dont understand

How are you preparing them. Also it's probably the fiber. Initially when I was eating beans years ago my body was getting used to them and making distinctive flatulence smell. After a while my body and stool becomes completely regular once you're accustomed to the fiber content

Im vegan and have been getting plenty of fibre for a long time. I eat apples bananas asparagus and other pre-biotic foods often so my microbiome is healthy and diverse. Its not a BAD smell, it just smells different. Its the only instance where I can identify what I ate through the smell of my movements.

Talked to my family doctor today and have been referred to a psychiatrist, but itll take a few weeks to get an appt. Luckily its covered by the Medical Services Plan in Canada. Yay healthcare.
I also definitely have a concussion. I rammed by head into a doorframe yesterday and knocked myself out. My pupils are very slightly dilating back and forth. Doc said take Tylenol liberally and go to the ER to check for bleeding if the pain doesnt stop by tomorrow. Am getting a CT scan soon now too, I guess.

Im not a great organizer but I feel like it could be beneficial for some people here. Just to talk about our problems and the ways in which we manage them, that kind of stuff.

No its more like an all-at-once thing. Emotions go from moderate to extreme super quickly sometimes. Im not even thinking straight when I do it, I just do it as a means to get out of there I guess. Figuring this out and learning how to handle it better is why Im going to the doctor. It already breaks my sisters, parents, and grandparents hearts seeing me do that to myself, especially since Im so chill otherwise. Imagine if I were to do something to one of them instead of myself or something.

I think I might ask my GP to refer me to a psychiatrist, rather than a therapist. Im generally a super happy guy, very positive and I take care of my body and do things I enjoy. I manage the chronic stresses of everyday stress very well. I have trouble managing acute stress, and will get violent with myself in response. I dont know why, but when Im in an overly-stressful, overly-stimulatory setting, and I cant remove myself from the situation, I start hitting myself and having a total breakdown. I want to solve this and learn how to manage it better, obviously.

So its not covered by extended health insurance? Unlike dental and physio? That sucks. Anyways Im starting soon, hopefully its a help.

Since Hinge doesnt need both people to mutually like each other in order for a convo to start, if I were to dislike/ swipe left on a profile, would they still be able to message me?

I work from home and asides from the gym, and school once that starts up, I dont really have a lot of ways to meet girls/potential relationship partners organically, which is obviously what I would prefer. Just got a question about Hinge, if anyone is familiar.

Unlike tinder and bumble (I think?), Hinge allows you to initiate a convo with someone even if they havent liked your profile yet and you two havent matched. If I dislike a profile, would they still eventually see mine? And would they be able to initiate a convo even though I had already disliked? The reason I asked is because I came across a girl who is the ex of a tangential friend of mine. I havent ever met the girl, because I dont really know the guy super well himself, but hes chill and our friend groups have a whole lot of overlap.

I only know of her cuz of her ex bf, she doesnt know who I am. If she initiates the convo, Id preface by saying I know her ex, and asking if shes cool with that. I dont want to initiate the convo cuz the first thing Id say (after liking her profile and starting up a convo) would be telling her that I know her ex lol. Thats just really weird haha. So if I were to dislike her profile on Hinge, would any chance of a convo get shut down or would she still be able to contact me? Thanks.

My chest is looking ROUGH. Ive never had acne so this splotchy red dotted look on my chest is really unpleasant to look at. Apparently it should go away in a day or two. Some of them are getting whiteheads so Ill make sure to scrub and exfoliate hard in the shower. I was advised to put 7% alcohol on it too but I dont have any.

Its definitely capable of sending people into shock, so you could be experiencing a minor form of that. My staple services are legs and chest, which I get done every 4 weeks. I add arms if Im feeling like it, but usually not more often than once per 8 weeks. Brazilian is by far the most interesting, theres two wax spreads in that area that are almost as uncomfortable as any of the pulls Ive ever had done.

Did your waxer give you a pumice glove? If not, Id recommend seeking some out, I use them daily, but the exfoliation is super important especially in the first week or so afterward.

Also, it gets a lot easier on your body the longer you keep it up, and it gets easier and faster for the waxer as well.

yes hahaha theres like no sensation. The shower was the weirdest part, its like the water doesnt even touch you.
