I definitely love the absurdity of the show and find it pretty quotable, but I can see how the absurdity is not for everyone. Whenever one of my friends is worked up about something and the rest of us don't really care, someone will inevitably say, "What does that have to do with Pootan?" The reactions of most of the friends I have shared it with are either - "What the heck did I just watch? This is hilarious." or "What the heck did I just watch? And why did you make me watch it?"
