There are farms offering double the minimum wage and yet people are not interested. With cheaper labour in other countries farming is just not a viable business without foreign workers. This can cause people to be pickier. This causes things like very attractive people or very job oriented people to be paired together. For example, I rarely choose to match with people without at least an undergrad degree and even among people with degrees art majors are also matched less frequently.
