When my grandfather passed away my mother DEMANDED that I give her his Masonic ring. So I showed her the three rings that he had. She grabbed the one that was 14 carot cheap, with a plastic inset containing the square and compass.

If only she knew what she passed up...

The first ring was a simple gold band with the Hebrew letter yod in a triangle, and the inscription inside the ring read Virtus Junxit Mors Non Separabit (What virtue has joined together, death shall not separate).

The other ring she passed up had a two-headed eagle, a triangle with a yod, the number 32, and a Rose Croix.

There are a couple potential advantages. A bipedal tank would stand taller than a wheeled or tracked vehicle, allowing a higher gun platform. This, of course, also has the tradeoff of being a better target.

A bipedal tank could crouch behind cover and pop up to fire its weapons, then crouch down again, like a mobile disappearing gun.

Of course, in the face of air superiority all tanks, wheeled, tracked, or legged, are pretty much sitting ducks.

There's a Greek fast food place in Bellevue, NE (John's Grecian Delights inside the old Southroads Mall if any of you are in the area) that has great fries. They're nice big steak-cut fries and they're served fresh out of the fryer and so hot they literally melt the styrofoam container.

They've also got an amazing burger that's topped with gyro meat and tzatziki, in addition to the usual gyros, souvlaki, and chicken riganato.

That was about $10 after tax and it was a TON of food.

Putting unreliable test kits, that haven't been approved or cleared by the fda, in the hands of the not medically trained doesn't help anyone but the profits of the test makers.

Except that these are FDA approved tests.

This would actually be a great idea, distribute enough tests, easy simple tests, so that people could test themselves on a regular basis. Then people could learn if they're infected within days, rather than wondering around for possibly weeks infecting everyone they meet.

The BinaxNOW test doesn't require jamming a swab into your brain, you just swab the inside of your nostril. So you make it part of your morning routine. Swab your nose and start the test, brush your teeth, take a shower, get dressed, check the results.

Most insurance companies will also cover at-home test kits as well, up to 8 tests per month per member (so family of 4 with all members covered, that's 32 tests per month). Yeah, Kegels are the exercise anyone can do at any time, and it's good for men as well as women. They can help you avoid bladder leaks or passing gas.

You basically just squeeze the muscles as if you were trying to stop yourself from peeing. Hold it for 3 seconds, then relax for 3 seconds. Try to do 10 in a row if you can. Work your way up to doing 10 in a row, three times a day. You can do them anywhere or anytime, at work, in the car, watching TV, brushing your teeth, eating dinner, whenever!

(Just don't do Kegels while you actually pee, you could give yourself a UTI. And like all exercise, don't overdo it, you can strain those muscles too.)
