All the stuff you guys are saying about so the airbag doesn't go off when it's not supposed to doesn't make sense. That's the point of having weight and seat belt sensors.

I often carry tools and equipment in the front seat, enough to trigger the weight sensor and make it think there's someone sitting there. Or I'm transporting a dog or goat to the vet and I can't buckle them in, so the airbag would probably be worse than not.

My grandparents said I loved raw tomatoes when I was a little kid, but then something happened and I hated them for decades. But I'm gradually coming back around to where I tolerate them. I'm not about to pick one up and take a bite, but I'm OK now with tomatoes on my tacos or burgers.

Mushrooms just kind of give me the creeps. I'll eat them, but I feel weird doing it. Grilled marinated portobello mushrooms taste a lot like steak. And that's just not right.

Okay I've got a lot to say about this. Not a Trumpster.

People need to stop pretending Trump has some grand plan. He's a man who managed to bankrupt a casino. He has no idea what he is doing.

A tariff war is insanely stupid. Bush implemented tariffs on steel and had to pull it back when it immediately negatively impacted the economy. Trump is doing tariffs 10x what Bush did. Harley already announced they are moving jobs oversees as a direct response to the new tariffs, and they will be the first of many companies. Prices are going to go up and people will lose jobs.

The economy is great courtesy of Obama, but Trump seems determined to fuck it up. It's mind-boggling.

Canada/Europe/China are matching our tariffs dollar for dollar, and if they choose to, they have unique options they could implement that would really hit us hard (which I could go into if anyone cares).

Tl;dr: Trump is going to fuck up a strong economy because he is an idiot.

I worked at Omaha Steaks for one day. I knew that their meat was overpriced frozen non-USDA graded junk, and they kept talking about it like it was the best thing ever. They wanted everyone to SELLSELLSELL!!! And you were required to push all kinds of extras and "specials", even if the customer said they didn't want anything else. And their pricing is complete BS; they offer the same packages in different magazines for different prices. I'm entirely too honest to shovel their manure and walked out before the first day of training was over.

If you want good steaks, try Costco. They've got USDA Prime ribeyes for about $12/lb.

I usually turn on both hot and cold taps. Water that is too hot will make you hurry so your hands won't get as clean, and water that's too cold won't dissolve oil or grease as well.

Forget about trying to kill bacteria with hot water, you'd end up with third-degree burns before any bacteria even broke a sweat.

The thermometer says the interior is 140F, which is rare. I let it sit out for a few minutes to rest, and then began carving.

I wasn't really expecting much, since this is a bottom round, which is a pretty lean piece of meat. And it is indeed, very lean. The taste is alright, nothing at all off about it, but it is very dry and a bit tough. It probably would have done better as a pot roast or some kind of wet cooking method. Or a good long marinade.

But overall, there doesn't appear to be anything wrong with it.

The only movie theater I ever go to is the Alamo Drafthouse. Instead of commercials before the movie, they show videos, cartoons and programs related to the movie. And you can order food, real food, and drinks during the film. Pizza, burgers, fish & chips, beer, wine and cocktails. And they have real popcorn with real butter, served in a bowl.

It's a bit more expensive than other theaters, but it's a much better experience.

Dale Gribble: So it turns out I'm not the actual Dale Gribble, but a clone of him. The original Dale Gribble is a super-warrior from the year 2087. The second me, i.e. I, was created to help the first me fight the invading Mongol armies.

Hank Hill: Dale, that's asinine, and here's four reasons why. First, you're not gonna clone a super-warrior out of a guy who can't even win a thumb-wrestling match. Two, you've spent your life swearing that the robots will eliminate the clones by the year 2010, so which is it, robots or clones? Three, you've already said you sympathize with the invading Mongolians of 2087, so you'd be the last one they'd send to fight them. And four, if you were from the future, you would have seen this coming. *punches Dale in the arm*
