yeah apparently the average copay is $120. the company that makes trintellex has a program where they give out coupons so you can lower your copay to $10 if you sign up for this program. or some insurance companies if you show them you've tried two different anti-depressants haven't worked for you they'll lower the copay as well.

It's weird that pharmaceuticals are so expensive in the US, there'd be a lot of money in opening your own lab to synthesize generics.

effexor is what i'm on now that i need to switch off of. it's causing me a lot of emotional blandness so i'm having a hard time feeling any positive emotions.

Patents prevent generics from being available. And then I'm pretty sure the first company to make a generic also gets to be the only generic for a while.

American pharmaceuticals are bonkers.

Pretty sure at this point that the drug companies just come out w/ new pills when the current one is about to become available as a generic and hype it as a major improvement, just to unendingly milk exclusivity for as much money as they can. And it has absolutely nothing to do w/ actual research advancements.
Maybe I'm just cynical.

SSRIs (Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitors) are known to cause decreased libido and performance. This drug isn't a complete SSRI, but it does still mess with Serotonin so it can still cause sexual dysfunction. However this particular drug seems to have less of an effect.

"The most common side effects reported with vortioxetine are nausea, diarrhea, dry mouth, constipation, vomiting, flatulence, dizziness, and sexual dysfunction."

Well, if you're vomiting, farting, and have simultaneous diarrhea and constipation, nobody is going to want to be around you anyway, so the whole sexual dysfunction thing isn't really a big problem.

Big Pharma controls a sizable portion of Congress so the laws regulating generics are super fucked. You functionally have to agree to be a subsidiary of the proprietary manufactures, and only with their permission.

This Countrys been fucked since Regean. See the topic about rent in the bay area. A single bedroom can be up to 4k a month. There's no way a box to sleep and eat in should cost more than the national median income.

The center cannot hold. A reckoning is coming.

So that leads you to believe that no manufactered drug can assist with an illness that occurs in the brain?
