I mean I get it, it's scary as fuck knowing your kid can get kidnapped. But it really isn't that frequent, and usually they're taken by people they know.

I really dont understand where this is coming from. How many kidnappings happen yearly where they don't find the child, a body, or the perpetrator?

If this was happing frequently wouldnt it be obvious?

In the US there around 115 stranger abductions every year.

These "#SavetheChildren" people throw around this "600,000 missing children every year!!!" statistic, but in reality most of those are runaways and runaways or not about 99% are quickly located.

Made a roguelike topic the other day and got a bunch of good recs, and I will slowly get through all of the, Dead Cells first.
But in the meantime I decided to check out Immortal Redneck. And I really like it. Maybe it's just cause it's such a good handling FPS, but it's a lot of fun. I like how the unlock mechanic works as well.

It goes from dark but you can still see around (how videos of it look online) to so dark it is impossible to see anything. It happened from when I played it last night to today when I lowered some graphic settings, then the same thing happened again midgame after I paused it for a second. Very annoying.

maybe you don't understand how impactful it can be to someone when they are told by another human being that they can 'do better than you' - that can cause deep trauma that effects someone for years, and underestimating how satisfying it is when they end up with someone worse. to them, that is a big deal, and could help them move on from their past trauma. it seems like you just don't care about other peoples relationships, which is fine, but it doesn't make them immature.

Got another wired 360 controller since that is what I use for my PC and 360, so I didn't have to switch back and forth anymore.

It's a MadCatz, plugged it in and it installed just fine. Didn't try to use it until today and now it's not recognized at all.

I basically got it for free so it's not a money thing.
