According to Wiki there are only 67 populated areas with Springfield in the United States and I think they're all on the contiguous US. For 10M just take 6 months and make a road trip of it.
I feel stupid, but there are 50 states. One would imagine a state has ONE city with a name, not two cities with the same name. How does this happen. Wouldn't it cause confusion for the UPS or for anyone. If I'm in springfield, Ohio or whatever do I say Springfield 1, Ohio vs Springfield 2, Ohio. Is it all just zip codes at that point? This sounds ridiculous to hear or try to figure out.

elliptical machine machine you can use your arms, to put less pressure on the legs and increase resistance to make it harder. There are elliptical machine with TV on it, so you can watch things on it.
TBH, machines with TVs on them are dumb when you can just mount a tablet and do functionally the same thing. Less cost, but maybe your machine doesn't implode if the cheap tablet they have built in croaks.

I'd throw Star Renegades into the ring of roguelites if you want to try it out. It's quite difficult on the higher difficulties. But it has a fun gameplay loop to exploit if you can figure it out that feels very satisfying.

Anyway have you tried out Cogmind or Rift Wizard? Tales of Maj'Eyal? Maybe Cataclysm Dark Days Ahead.

Pretty good, I'm surprised that the game is too easy even on the hardest difficulty. I'm only level 13-15 currently and that first chapter ending gave me high hopes. By first chapter I mean attempting to retrieve Scarlett. The boss of that chapter was surprisingly difficult, so I figured it would be a good barometer for the rest of the game.

But apparently not.

The team comps are probably the most fun. You're playing like 5 games of rock paper scissors with some results of one game influencing how others win. I like the concept of having an armored guy weak to magic being backed up by a radiant knight who nullifies all magic for my armored dude so he's able to do his job like he's supposed to. So you then have to consider how to counter the radiant knight with a gryphon knight but there's a shaman lowering your initiative to the point where their archer can now kill your gryphon knight before you can fly in and wipe them out. And that's how you get dragged into a somewhat complicated game of RPS.

I like it. It's crunchy but not too crunchy.

Cycling is probably the lowest impact exercise, so if you have problems with your knees bearing impact/weight that's the one.

Rowing is also low impact and is basically a full body workout.

Treadmill is running, it's considered high impact normally, but with how they're built to cushion impacts and have suspension systems, you can consider it medium impact or lowish.

Treadmill is about the only one that forces you to exercise while the others are based off of your movements activating the machine itself. That is unless you have a manual treadmill.

They all do fine for losing weight.

I can't think about anymore.

It depends on what you want. If you want general fitness rowing sounds great (I've never rowed myself). If you want lung capacity then look at the treadmill or the bike. Cycling gives you really ripped legs if you do it consistently. Treadmill builds up endurance so you can do things yourself. Imagine being able to think you can run 13 miles straight without stopping. Or if you REALLY needed to get somewhere you could do 2 miles in about 20 minutes or less on your own without needing a bike or car.

They're all valid dependent on what you need. I love both cycling and running. I have to say having a high cycling endurance you can do 30-60 miles outdoors and REALLY see your area and learn it. However...you have to hope drivers are nice to cyclists which they aren't to do that.

It's been a long time, but I've played a bit more. I'm between dungeon 2 and 3 right now. Currently collecting the Gold Leaves.

The puzzle in this photo always holds a place in my mind as being the most unintuitive in any Zelda game. You're supposed to throw a jar at the door to unlock it. They made it more clear in the Switch remake by actually putting a picture of a jar on the door, which as much as that removes the problem solving element, it honestly isn't a bad change given how weird this puzzle was.

Overall I'm enjoying Link's Awakening, but the Switch version has spoiled me. I doubt I'll ever play the GBC version again after this, unless someday I play through each Zelda in release order again.

https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/a/forum/0/081e9c86.jpg
I believe one of the owls in a dungeon earlier tells you to throw a pot at a door to open it. The assumption is you remember to do that to enter this dungeon. OR, there's a dungeon that literally locks you in a room and you have to open it with bombs or a pot. Something like that. I still agree it's a garbage puzzle. Link's awakening was one that I couldn't beat as a kid by myself, I had to use a guide. I think it's about the only one because some parts like that were just absolutely confusing for kid me.

Face Shrine is almost cancerous too.

This is probably what most people do when they say they "invest."

If you have someone managing your money they're either gonna blow it all or some shit while charging you ludicrous amounts. You COULD get lucky and make bank, but TDFs are the safest way to invest while working and having a more secure retirement.

The only other option you have if you want to invest in the stock market which is proven to double like every 7-10 years or so is to take an ETF of the S&P 500.

INB4 People say invest in SPY, consider doing VOO or IVV if you want that ETF. The expense ratios of the latter 2 are like .05% less than SPY. So you save in the long run. Regardless investing in SPY is still good because it's better than nothing.

If you REALLY want to invest make sure you save a nice chunk of change for your future self before gambling on stocks and hoping you win the money lottery. At least you know you'll have a future then, rather than no future.

But if all you care about playing you can play on the lower difficulties finish them and help with the cause of bringing liberty to bugs and bots. Playing on the easiest difficulty liberates as much as someone playing on helldiver difficulty. So if you have all the samples, the best players play on the lowest difficulty to try to help out and liberate a planet as fast as possible.

That's the question I had. What did she think would happen to herself when she came home to a dead baby after leaving it for 10 days? Or was she stupid enough to think she'd survive that long without food and water?
Looking into it, I honestly don't know wtf is going on. She left, came home saw baby dead and tried to dress her up but also immediately called 911. If she REALLY wanted to, she could've tried to cover it up better? But within 10 minutes of coming home she legit called 911 in tears.

That was her SOLE saving grace, her one out in the entire tragedy that she did somewhat right. The one thing giving a semblance of care.

However...it's very possible she was hoping to fuck off and come back to a dead baby and then pretend Jailyn just happened to die. That was the original story she gave detectives. She was always home, she never went on vacation and her baby just happened to be dead when she woke up in the morning after a night of crying. Terrible shit. She's getting put in jail but I saw the court case, she admitted guilt and she has a lifetime sentence no parole chances. But at the end the judge said she could attempt to appeal? It's possible she might get life with parole or something through an appeal.

HOWEVER, I did watch the 2 hour sentencing and Amaya (7yo girl) was literally mentioned once in the entire case. Mom said sorry to her that's about it. So odds are if in 2 hours of sentencing Amaya is only mentioned once, I imagine Amaya wasn't involved with the current case at all, and I'm likely to believe that she was indeed in Ecuador like that poster on reddit claims, or somewhere else. Just not involved with the case is the important part.

The worth in old age of fixing all joint pains and arthritis and back pain is absolutely insane too.

Jailyns cries echoed through the quiet streets of Cleveland in the dead of the night. The toddler whimpered and howled, but no one came to her rescue.
Her mother, Kristel Candelario, was away on a 10-day summervacation and had left Jailyn alone in a playpen with a few bottles of milk, prosecutors said. A neighbors doorbell camera captured the 16-month olds frequent screams, including one around 1 a.m. two days after her mother left.

They weren't joking you could hear the crying in the streets.

Some choice lines from the CNN article to break you apart even more.

A neighbors doorbell camera captured the 16-month olds frequent screams, including one around 1 a.m. two days after her mother left.

At her sentencing Monday, forensic pathologist Elizabeth Mooney told a Cleveland courtroom that children experience the most extreme separation anxiety between nine and 18 months. She recounted Jailyns excruciating final days.
The pain and suffering she endured lasted not only hours, not days, but possibly even a week, Mooney said, fighting back tears.
This feeling of abandonment for days on end, coupled with the pain of starvation and extreme thirst is a type of suffering I dont think any of us could ever fully fathom.

https://www.newsnationnow.com/crime/depression-excuse-kristel-candelario-attorney/
ALSO according to this article she also has a 7 year old daughter. It's written at the end like an afterthought.
Candelario also has a 7-year-old daughter.

WTF? Where was she? How is the 7 year old treated? NEWS HELLO??????????????? Journalists not gonna follow up on this shit? NOBODY mentions this anywhere but newsnation as a fucking one sentence after thought? This could give more insight on the mother.

This is a HUGE deal, because she fucked off to vacation somewhere. So if someone was taking care of the 7 year old and she abandoned the baby, hot damn does this make her look even worse than previous reported.

That WAS the link for the pixel 3 glass, I checked from my orders. However, I bought this one with my pixel 3 in 2019 and it's still in damn good condition. I've dropped it several times surely over those 5 years, and I have the very tiniest hair line fractures no more than a centimeter long. I never noticed them. I only noticed now shining a bright light on them. Screen works completely fine.

I would buy them again for my newer phone.

You will probably have to take the case on to put it on right, and ABSOLUTELY MAKE SURE THERE'S NO DUST. Once you put it on, you'll have to put a new one on. The adhesive on mine lasted this entire time, never showed peeling.

Go glass every time, and not some plastic thing, eventually those peel and wear down, glass won't.

Well I'll put in my two pieces. Probably the best modern roguelike game out there. There's only two that I know of currently. Cogmind is modern while Rift Wizard is more of a classic arcadey look to it but still modern.

Cogmind is essentially an upgraded version of nethack with an actual story involved. You often don't get roguelikes with stories in them especially not with multiple story endings and optional stuff (I think only Tales of Maj'eyal comes somewhat close). There's seriously several different branches you can take in cogmind. It also accomodates for several different builds, you want to be a stealthy boy go ahead, you want to be giant tank? Go ahead. All those are viable. Skill accounts for a lot in cogmind rather than luck. With the hacking system in place and even meta knowledge use of terminals you can be surprisingly flexible in your builds.

Weaponry is awesome and the graphics for an ascii game or tile game look absolutely beautiful. If anyone ever wanted to dive into a roguelike and see what it is to be one blind and thrown to the wolves with nobody holding your hands? Cogmind would be the one.

The price on this game NEVER goes down. The dev has legitimately been working on this for over 10 years I think alone? So he's not doing any sales since all of the games funds helps him develop the game more along with patreon proceeds. The dev is a nice guy and you can talk to him easily on the discord. I was surprised to learn the guy actually blocks time and considers it "work hours" to hang with the community. He regularly hosts streams of him playing the game in many different styles so people can learn from him or even ask questions.

So yeah, buy the game if you've ever enjoyed a true roguelike. I'm not talking hades or binding of isaac rogueLITES. I'm talking real roguelike like DCSS or nethack of the sort. If you don't know those games I mentioned well...now's the time to learn with Cogmind!

what do Airbenders get as a specialty?
??? Did you watch the show. They've got several things going for them. Flight as has been mentioned. Spirit projection too, but the biggest one on par with blood bending is sucking the air out of your lungs.

How do people forget that? Sure it'll be a while but we'll probably have a psychic suck the air out of your lungs air bender if they want to exist similar to psychic blood bending.

I've seen nothing to indicate sharing of nude photos is involved. The father's demeanor makes me doubt they were. He asks "do you have a problem with my daughter?" and accuses the kid of "bothering" his daughter, then he just kept asking for an apology. Doesn't seem like statements you'd make towards someone sharing nude photos of your daughter. The kid he's harassing says he hasn't done anything wrong, and says something about photos with his family. A couple other kids come to his defense. The father then starts threatening the kids who were defending him.
Do you have the full video I'd like to see it.

And like I said I'm only allowed to think of a reason why the father would do this when the news article states this:

"An affidavit says Thomas came to the school to sign out his daughter, who was having problems with another student over photos being shared."

Would you like to speculate what kind of photos would incense a father to the point that he goes into a school and confronts a high school kid? I would really like to know.

I wonder if there was some history here where perhaps the father had previously taken all the more diplomatic measures to stop the bullying yet the school did nothing. It may have reached a tipping point where the father decided to take matters into his own hands.

It's wrong but as a father of a little one myself, I kinda get it.
If you read the article, which I suggest everyone do, and critically analyze it, you come upon this sentence in the article.

"An affidavit says Thomas came to the school to sign out his daughter, who was having problems with another student over photos being shared."

Surely they were innocuous "photos" of her climbing a mountain or smiling with a group of friends.

To hit it on the head here, it most likely was nudes. That's about the only reason that would warrant a parent furious enough to come in and confront a boy about his daughter.

I want people to understand that this father went into the school and probably squared up to the kid, didn't even hit him (although I'd really like to watch the 3 minute video and I'll probably look for it myself), and was aggressively telling him to apologize to his daughter.

I'm surprised he wasn't throwing hands honestly at this point. He was rather restrained. Most likely he did address the issue with the school. But the title needs to be fixed.

Father arrested after confronting kid in classroom for bullying his daughter with her nudes

This completely changes the context in my eyes. I'm surprised he didn't call police for distribution of child pornography in this case.

Now I'll eat my words if the photos are just unflattering images of his daughter for example looking messy eating in the cafeteria, but I'll be damned if it isn't nudes. That's about the only context where a parent would come rushing in for their child into a school with a restrained fury. "Photos being shared" is such a stupid phrase to use here and really confounds WHY the father was there. It really makes a big difference in justifying why he was there. It's especially stupid to be going around asking parents if a parent should confront a bully in the school. What they should be asking the other parents is if a parent should confront a bully who is sharing nudes of your child and see if anyone changes their replies. BIG difference hidden behind "sanitized language" here.

This is why people should read the articles and think critically. Most people talking about bullies and physical shit this is pretty bad and damning. I wouldn't be surprised if this slapped a terrible reputation on the girl.

I'd have to know how much the rain entails. ALSO. If it's raining. I don't think you can ever fly dependent on how strong the storm is.

You'd have to know the strength of the rain storm, if it's drizzles or thunderstorming levels. Or if it's just varied on a day by day basis or hour by hour. Drizzle in the morning, torrential downpour by noon etc. These are all important things to know.

I wish I knew more about meteorology, but for example what happens if you took your rain cloud and went through a hurricane. Could you literally split a hurricane in half? Could you stop a tornado from coming by cancelling out the phenomenon with your own phenomenon? There's so much that can be done beyond just solving water problems.

Lol you could rain out sport events by just existing. The military aspects of this is insane if you can always make it rain too. You can cause inclement weather that maybe disrupts some military instruments? But beyond that can create cover for soldiers if they know about it ahead of time. Cause it to rain for an operation in an area that it almost never rains? You can totally fuck over the enemy with something like that.

There's surprisingly a lot of things you could do with this if you knew a lot more.
