My HTML and CSS is okay but you don't really need to be an expert at those to make these beginner projects.

What sucks though is I've never used grid and now I have to since I want my calculator to look good.

https://css-tricks.com/snippets/css/complete-guide-grid/

This is the guide I'll be following. It's straight forward but I'll have to go over it a bunch of times.
Why use grid when odin project advertises going with flex box? Would make life easier, and your calculator will flex to whatever the dimensions are on the user's end?

Damn good idea honestly. That's the best part of an air fryer. It's a tiny little oven that you don't feel self conscious using it like you would with a normal oven. I mean a toaster oven is the same thing, but my air fryer is much bigger than my old one.

That's kind of my point, though. Players know to look for a genocide route now, they know the game is aware and tracking their actions, they know it'll impact the ending or unlock a superboss. The discovery is purely mechanical now. It's "how do I unlock this game's version of X" instead of organically stumbling on something that actually reinterprets their understanding of the entire thing.
I mean it didn't exist in the first chapter so nobody was looking for that in the second chapter unless you read into the super secret hints. I mean if you go in getting spoiled by the fandom then yeah. But I was blind sided by weird route. I figured that was it until I read about weird route. And everything you said about organically stumbling onto it can totally happen in the second chapter.

Regardless, finding and fighting Spamton NEO was a treat especially with how Kris acts after it. That's a big treat compared to normal. And that's not even attached to doing a weird route or anything.

If weird route continues, it's going to be drastically different due to the implications of breaking arms/killing Berdly. By the way I didn't even know you could break his arm until reading it afterwards. That's a subversion in of itself, because it isn't apart of the weird route. Some people might think his arm ALWAYS gets broken. There's clearly now multiple different endings to get like in Undertale. I think that's a pretty big subversion of expectations. I think it's odd to just say I CAN'T BE SUBVERTED ANYMORE BECAUSE THE BIG PLOT TWIST HAPPENED AND NOW I CAN BE PROPERLY PREPARED. I mean...how many twists does Toby need to throw at you to be subverted? How many times did Undertale subvert things for you to be satisfied? I think the current stuff is already more than good enough, and I'm sure there's going to be even more. We still have to figure out who the roaring knight is. We're going to get DarkWorld Toriel and Undyne, that's going to be fun stuff to think about. Are those not subversions? They probably will be because of what we expect out of them.

Oh let's not talk about the eggs either. I found one my first run as a fluke. I didn't expect there to be a second. So that's another twist for me. Is this all just NORMAL expectations for you? Normal expectations of Toby? Normal expectations of RPGs in general? I've played RPGs and there isn't much consistency in them with how Toby rewards going back and checking things out like he does.

It's never going to live up to Undertale because the illusion has been shattered. Part of what made so many people play or recommend Undertale was the subversive nature of the gameplay and how it screwed with conventions in a meta way when on the surface it just looked like an Earthbound homage pixel indie RPG. The twist was basically the whole appeal.

Now that everyone knows to expect all that stuff, Deltarune is absolutely going to disappoint. Not because it'll be bad, but because everyone knows what it is now and that takes something significant away from the product.
Have you played weird route? It already has subversions there.

Feel free to go for it. My rotisserie function still works and it has been three to four years of solid use of at least once a week.

I guess I should mention, I've made jerky in mine. But my air fryer isn't a basket one. It has trays that lets air go through it. So results are a bit different.

I've been slow cooking chicken in a crock pot for the better part of the past decade because I don't have an oven; are we talking effort in set up, maintenance or something else?
I'm talking about buying a tiny chicken and then tying it up with a rope and seasoning the outsides. Then you gotta butcher and break it down after which I find a bit more obnoxious to do. But still fun. I don't think it beats 5 dollar rotisserie chicken. In terms of effort to time spent. You can't beat a 5 dollar rotisserie chicken, unless the flavor is vastly superior, and sadly it isn't. But it's still better than a 5 dollar one, just not significant enough for me to go through the effort.

However, if YOU constantly cook an entire chicken in a slow cooker then it may be worth it.

https://youtu.be/WNEgXyOxDxU

There's a video of a guy doing rotisserie chicken in my air fryer from start to finish. I find it a bit annoying, but it may be for you. I only do it for special occasions around Winter or if I want to impress someone with it. It IS impressive to me TBH.

In general it's about the same, since it cooks faster. But like I said it's all a learning process. You just gotta experiment. If you want it crunchier more time and higher temps will do it. If you want it juicier more time lower temp.

Love it, I use it for frozen shit like french fries or pizza bites and they come out perfect (if you know the time). Perfect for reheating pizzas and cooking empanadas from scratch (if you don't mind them bloating up like blimps). Nuggets and fries from McD's or fast food come out great if you know the time on reheating them. It's all a learning process.

I use it to reheat deserts like danishes or cinnamon buns and it makes a difference.

Mine has a rotisserie thinger in it, and I've used it several times to roast an entire small chicken in it. Much better than the store bought ones IMO. But the effort is obnoxious.

In general anytime you don't want to use an entire oven to cook up some minor things it's good to use.

This video is essentially my opinion on the game. He goes over the history of the game. I do recommend it because there is a lot of sympathy for Omocat and the first time struggles of making the game while making promises that they didn't know they wouldn't be able to keep up with. Ambitious artist out of their element making a game because they wanted to use a new medium for their art. They did a great job, but there is a lot to fix up in general. If they didn't promise a 40 hour long game and made it shorter (by cutting out most of dreamspace), this game could've easily been a bigger phenomena that it is currently.

I have no problem with the twist, I'm fine with it. And I agree that the story is more about how the characters process their grief, rather than solving HOW Mari died. This isn't some CSI shit. Good story and characters spoiled by terrible pacing and combat design. I have to say the one awesome thing about the game though is you NEVER have to grind. You can fight every single new enemy type ONCE and be fine for boss battles. Boss battles didn't take more than 2 tries to beat with one exception Dumpster battle or whatever in the real world, another optional battle I believe. You do have to grind A BIT for the money artist stuff at the end, but that's purely optional. Overall, Omori is more fun to beat for the story rather than to complete it. Mind you, I never undertook the...Hikikomori route because that sounded like a total slog. Why would I want MORE of the stale combat where you basically use whatever emotional manipulation you need to beat the boss easily.

This is factually incorrect considering Arise has aerial combat and aerial artes. The reason why Arise's combat is lackluster is because you can't hitstun and stunlock bosses for combos so you can't style on them like you can in most other Tales games and because of the unnecessary cure points system and the game being stingy with gels that recover cure points to try and get people to buy some of the overpriced DLC. I hope the next new Tales game is nothing like Arise.
Really? I mean I played through about 90% of the game on unknown. It's brutal playing it without ANY form of hitstun or stunlock. But at least in graces you can break through and get a breather with exploiting weaknesses. I also played Arise modded to do two player with my brother. That made the game actually tolerable for once. Otherwise it's a pretty boring game. I don't think I ever had my brother quit on me like he did one Arise close to the end and refusing to fight because it was just...so god damn boring. You either hit the enemy's SINGULAR weakness or you didn't. Oh and spam reigning slash and knock downs.

But your points still stand about the lack of stunning in the game. I don't get the point of the healing gel's no longer being percentages lol. I still enjoyed Grace's combat waaaaaaaaaay more. Regardless if it doesn't have aerial combat. Better than spamming instant spells with Rita constantly. Although Judith was pretty fun in Vesperia.

The big thing that killed Arise for me was no multiplayer. The framework exists, the mod doesn't seem to deviate too far, they COULD have done it easily in the game but...they didn't. I don't know exactly why.

Wait you guys liked Ichigo being a soul reaper, hollow, fullbringer, quincy combo? I thought it was stupid he was whatever the story needed to be.

It'd be just as ridiculous if naruto had discovered his mom was a uchiha, he can summon insects and use shadow binding techniques and oh he also has a byakugan and upon getting six paths he also gets the rinnegan. Makes no god damn sense.

The best part of bleach is when Tsukishima used his bullshit fullbringer to make Ichigo's pals think he defeated Aizen and Ichigo was some background chump. I just laughed my ass off.https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/a/user_image/5/8/1/AABn_6AADcW1.jpg

I'm going to be serious here, because I ride bikes near daily for long periods of time. I spent 5 years using a tiny ass seat like this:

And tbh, you get used to the pain. Then I stopped biking and the pain starts up and it's annoying.

I decided to try out a leather bike seat from brooks and dear god I wish I had bought it sooner.

The first 100-200 miles ridden are BETTER than a normal bike seat, but after that it actually molds and shapes to your butt and is one of the smoothest rides ever. The only con is you have to take care and oil it probably every six months or so and make sure the leather stays good. But I swear this is a game changer and has me staying on the bike longer with less soreness. No longer do you have to get used to pain.

Apparently if you have pain or soreness from your seat it's because the seat isn't fitted for you personally, so you have to go out and get a pro to measure you and do it, or do the research on measuring yourself.

Someone on gamefaqs recommended Rift Wizard for a good roguelike, that one's plenty fun.
One of the more unique takes on roguelikes, if you want something free and regarding zombies. CDDA, Cataclysm: Dark Days Ahead, is a solid game.

Once you learn how to read it, it's readable. The first time I legitimately thought how am I supposed to read this. It makes sense if you stare into the madness and it stares back at you.

It's a good game, but it has a lot of...filler.

Dream sequences are obnoxious. Some of them are good but damn do they take up the majority of the game.

One thing I can attest to, is that you never need to grind. If you fight every new enemy type once, you should be good to go. I even played it explicitly like that just to see if the claims were true.

It's a solid game overall, if you beat the game, this video basically summarizes my complaints about the filler perfectly. It feels like they promised a however long game, and added pointlessly long sections to get it. If they had focused the game would be rather well known. Instead it loses probably a lot of people through the filler and gets bumped down to a somewhat recognizable game. So that filler really fucks up the pacing, and then the combat gets boiled down to in general a really easy to manipulate triangle of emotions. Takes away from the game for me.

This video obviously contains spoilers.

At the Water Temple in Ocarina of Time if you misuse your small keys you can get stuck.

Basically you're supposed to unlock a door to a series of rooms where you find another. If you backtrack and use the initial key elsewhere you can't get another and you're fricked
This isn't true. People just don't find keys that are pretty damn well hidden.
