i mean i get that sometimes that stuff is creepy but honestly i've mostly always found it funny. like i remember someone literally made a site with a timer for the olsen twins and while i'm sure there were some creeps keeping an eye on it i think it was mostly meant as a joke. i always kinda put duckbear in that same boat.

Most of it that I've seen has just been creepy. Even if it is a joke, it's being ironically creepy, which is still recognizing that it's creepy behaviour.As for duckbear, I genuinely don't think he possesses the social nuance needed to be ironically creepy, so he most likely just feels that talking about how hot somebody is the day they turn 18 is normal, healthy behaviour. It also doesn't help that I'm sure Daily Mail makes articles talking about how child actresses are "all grown up," normalizing that kind of sexualization.

The Naz-, err, I mean, People's Party, is only polling at like 2% right now, lmao. Bernier is unlikely to even win his own seat. They're not really taking any notable amount of votes from anyone, especially given that most of their supporters live in ridings that have always gone Conservative.

PPC is kind of a joke that's been shot down every time they've tried to rear their ugly heads. I especially like that they include "protecting Canadian culture" in their platform without acknowledging that the only credible threat to Canada's cultural identity is American culture. Somehow I don't think any of the party's supporters would actually like to see an expansion of CBC's funding, stronger Canadian Content rules for networks, or restrictions on how much American media can be imported.

I'm liking the sound of a minority, regardless of who takes the reins. Really, none of the parties are inspiring enough confidence right now for me to want anyone to have majority-level power. I'm probably going to be voting NDP, though I need to check local polling data to figure out if voting Liberal instead will help keep the Cons out (since I'm really not a fan of how Scheer's been approaching this, even if he's proving to be a different sort of awful than Harper was).

That does get better with time. The first game's battle system also had problems with starting slow, thanks to taking a while to unlock enough Arts to actually have something to do, but 2's worse for that due to how many extra layers the system has. Once you start weaving different sorts of combos together, it does get quite a bit faster and more interesting.

Bear in mind that TC is Canadian and the phone would therefore be ~$1200 in the dollars most of you are used to. Still a lot, but marginally less absurd.

Personally, my phone retails for $900 (again, Canadian), but the only reason I've got it is because that was one of only two options my carrier gave me for the upgrade from my $20 flip phone that was falling apart after 8 years. I would gladly have gone for something much cheaper, but I didn't actually have to pay anything for it beyond the $40 activation fee and the $40/month for my basic plan (no data, unlimited texting and Canada-wide calling, which is what I was already paying for on my old phone), so I'm okay with that. Though I did the math on the 2-year contract and determined that Bell is effectively charging me something like $3/month for service if I subtract the cost of the phone, which tells me they're charging an absurd amount for service outside of contracts. But then this surprises nobody because Canadian telecoms are horrible.

He thinks Smash is a deeply flawed game because he played Roy and damaged himself a little with Roys neutral special and said that the game gave no indication he would be damaged, and that it shouldve, despite the fact that half of the appeal of smash is that 5-9% Damage is virtually nothing that wont hinder your changes /too/ much, or that he couldve just not used that move.

Or, for that matter, he could have just not charged it for 5x longer than you'll ever be able to charge it in a non-joke match.

That's just regular slutty brownies with extra crumbled oreos and chocolate chips on top. You could get far, far sluttier than that. Caramel sauce, chocolate sauce, marshmallows (either regular or just make an Italian meringue and spread it on), chocolate ganache, peanut butter... Calling this "ultimate" is just weak.

Yes, magnums in particular are pointless. Their nominal width is the same as that of standard size condoms. Other varieties of larger condoms can be worthwhile, though. I also generally haven't seen too much of a difference in price between larger ones and smaller ones of the same brand, except that larger ones tend not to have a bulk pack option (which is cheaper per unit), so it's not like you're going to be wasting money by buying a larger size.

You have to actually shop around for condoms with different nominal widths (the stated width of the base), but they're out there, and they can make a substantial difference in how comfortable they are for larger guys. I personally use Lifestyles Skyn Large, having found standard-size ones to be uncomfortably tight and prone to breakage because of how poorly they fit. But that's speaking as somebody in the 99th percentile for both length and (more importantly) girth. For anyone closer to average, you probably don't need a larger one.

Also, Trojan's polyurethane ones are awful. They don't stretch at all, which meant trying to put one on was outright painful. Would not recommend unless you're thoroughly average-sized, and even then they're obnoxiously crinkly.

This means you are attempting to declare that something that is legal now is actually not legal. Not by actively changing the laws to incorporate the item in question, but rather by just pointing at something it was not covered by before and saying that it should be covered by that too and so it will be.

Laws just dont work like that. The judiciary never was meant to create or change laws, only to enforce the laws as they are written by the legislature. If you want ironclad protection for something get them to make a law, not any of this it is, it isnt back and forth thats created by the judicial process.

And the argument here is "this is logically identical to the things covered by the existing laws, so the existing laws should be amended to include it and/or can already cover it without explicit amendments."

Because some reasons have no bearing on job performance and are not things people can change about themselves. Additionally, protected classes are typically classes of people that have been subject to harmful discrimination on a large scale, meaning their designation is a matter of trying to prevent further such discrimination and therefore harm. There's not much motivation to protect a class that doesn't have anything to protect against.
