Man, screw Dr. Wily and his 8 robot bastards. Had to max level Geno to even get close.

I cheesed this one with Fox, with support spirits being a Franklin Badge and Metal Killer. Then I just pressed B until they died, using Fox Fire to switch stage sides as they got close.

Even better was the time I equipped a Franklin Badge against the Mii Gunner unlock.

The AI had no idea what to do, and was trying to use the three or so moves the Gunner has that aren't projectiles, so it was trying to get me with almost exclusively aerials, and the occasional reflected move.

The Franklin Badge spirits are borderline broken in World of Light. Like, full stop.

Take for example, the Diggernaut challenge. It's Giant ROB and starts with a Drill. I stand still waiting to see what happens, and it tosses the drill, gets reflected back at it, and it gets caught on the drill all the way to oblivion.

Yeah, I won by doing absolutely nothing.

I enjoy switching up my characters, but there seems to be way too many scenarios that can be solved with a Franklin Badge support and watching the AI get confused when they know they cant use their projectile.

I've always been fond of the idea Game of the 90s, because we could easily produce a solid field of 128 with minimal fodder. And we could totally get to do some of the cool stuff from 2015 that Undertale spoiled, like Pokemon vs. Mario World, Chrono Trigger vs. FF7, and give OoT another cushy path to the finals against whatever can get through a stacked other half of the bracket.

If this is somehow Zelda keeping it as "close" as it is right now via rSFF, Cloud has a shot against both Mario and Zelda in the loser bracket. There's a non-zero possibility that Cloud is still #2 after the bomb he put up in 2013. Hilarious.

The thought of our #2 not being worth 40% on Link is just pitiful.

I'd rather do Game of the Decade, because the fodder level on the character battle equivalent would be unreal, and it would probably just come down to 2B, so it wouldn't even have unpredictability on its side.

She's already really close to it, as it is. But there's still arguments for the likes of L-Block, Draven, Undertale, Majora '10, Cloud '03, Starcraft/Melee '04, etc.

If she defeated Link in match 150, it would no longer be even subjective.
