Spear was one of four new abilities in Return to Dream Land, the others being Leaf, Water, and Whip.

With it, Kirby wielded a lance. He could strike it forward, launch it in the air, and even fly with it.

Although absent in the main series games after Triple Deluxe, it is available to play as in Kirby Battle Royale.

Bandanna Waddle Dee uses a neat-identical spear for attacking in various games.

With this, a RtDL ability has been eliminated. There are still three left, though, and top 35 isnt bad!

33rd: Fire

Fire is a mainstay copy ability, being around since the beginning in Kirbys Adventure, and is one of the first abilities Kirby can obtain in Vegetable Valley Stage 1.

With it, Kirby can exhale fire breath like hes a dragon! It can also light up and burn various things throughout different games, most notably the cannon fuses. Its remained relatively the same ever since, aside from getting a full moveset in Super Star and from Return to Dream Land onwards. With this extended move set, Burning was made the dash attack of Fire. Same goes for Ice but with Freeze.

Although Fire is not in the Dark Matter Trilogy despite Ice being present, Burning + Rick provides an identical result in Dream Land 2 and 3.

This is one of five abilities confirmed to appear in Kirbys new game, Kirby and The Forgotten Land, alongside Sword, Cutter, Ice, and Needle.

Ice is Fires direct counterpart.

Copy, umm, was a redundant ability. Only appeared in Super Star. Had Kirby gain the abilities of special foes and lightly damage anything else. Its only real purpose was to have a character like Kirby for player 2 in the form of TAC. That role would be taken by Gooey in Dream Land 3, and different colored Kirbies in other titles.

Also, copying a Scarfy gives you Crash.

(Due to this abilitys unique nature, I feel like I shouldve excluded it from the list of participating abilities. Ah well. Too late now.

35th: Spark

Spark was one of the original Adventure abilities.

It was originally a simple attack with ok range. Kirby protected himself with a flurry of sparks. In later games it instead became a sphere of electric energy that Kirby surrounded himself with, making the abilitys name an artifact.

Spark is one of nine abilities featured in the Dark Matter trilogy. Kirby 64 also allowed Kirby to move while attacking for some reason.

In Return to Dream Land, Spark gained lightning bolt attacks that could strike up or down. These were removed in Triple Deluxe for unknown reasons but appeared again in Planet Robobot.

Starting with Squeak Squad, Spark gained Plasmas charging technique. Spark and Plasma never appear in the same game together. In Star Allies, Plasma was present instead of Spark. It is unknown if either will be in Forgotten Land at the moment.

Two of my saves just barely escaped elimination. Wow.

While I did not particularly care for Samus as Im not a Metroid fan, I am sad to see SSB 64 gone. It has some great characters, with Jigglypuff being my personal favorite.

Also, two S characters eliminated in a row. Do you think Snake will go next?

36th: Archer

Archer was one of four new abilities in Triple Deluxe.

As the name implies, its attacks are focused on using a bow and arrow. Unlike Cupid, the shots fired go in a straight line. You can aim the arrows to go in different directions. Kirby also had a dash attack and a camouflaging skill with this ability.

Although it was not in Star Allies, since it was in the original Kirby Fighters, it made an appearance in Kirby Fighters 2.

(And with that, only one Triple Deluxe ability remains! The RtDL era abilities havent been doing so well lately.
