I sit in front of a large floor fan and it's currently blowing right on that spot. So of my carpet is moldy, then I've been breathing this in for years.

Get a hold of the local housing authority, and the local news. There is no way in hell that is a legal residence anymore. Whomever is responsible for that property needs to take the steps to get that shit fixed yesterday.

It's my place and I'm alone there for 13+ hours a day.

Mental illness is tough. The sad thing is it usually gets worse with age. I think sometimes people who are constantly miserable or do strange things and don't understand why are looking for answers they'll never get because of how little we still know about the human brain.


I have BPD and I know sometimes I get irrationally angry about things and my moods can change in an instant. I still don't know why. It's not something I control, the thoughts are just there. It's not a state of mind but when I'm in a "doom and gloom" mood and my life is relatively fine, it's confusing when I try to rationalize the thoughts. Why do I not feel okay? I have everything I need so I should be happy. Logic starts to fail you and you feel even more nuts when you go and are told there's nothing "different" about you. Your brain is normal, nothing horrible happened to you in your childhood, etc. Yet you know you're fucked up in the head. At a certain point it's exhausting.

I'm sorry. I wish my brother was in jail. Really. My brother is still living with my mother at 26 and basically acts like Dandy from that one season of AHS. Only a pot head and not good looking. Mood swings, victim complex, threatening suicide for the last 15 years, hates us all. Mother won't kick his worthless ass out because I guess she just can't bring herself to do it despite everyone telling her it's the only solution. Emotionally manipulates her, carefully times his crying fits/drama to when she has plans so she stays home because she's worried about him. It's a deeply fucked up situation.

I sincerely wish we still had insane asylums in this country. That is absolutely no joke where he belongs. And he better get his shit together because my other brothers and I have already concluded that when our mom is gone (which is hopefully not for decades still but trust me, he'll still be right there), we're kicking him out of that house and if he winds up homeless and insane on the street then so be it. We're done. Every ounce of our capacity to feel anything for him is just gone. Be gone, fuck off and then maybe he'll see what it truly is to have no one.

He's never going to change when his family hates him. What reason does he have to change for people that most likely treat him like shit and make him feel even worse? That's how it was with me. Except I've never gotten into hard drugs or crime.
