What's annoying is that alignment, stats, and the idea of a d20 are one of the things that stuck with the people who don't play DnD, which two of those things have have awful baggage that I wish would go away. The d20 is fine, there are a few people who swear by using 2d10 or 3d6 for their random number generator, but it's not nearly as big as the other stuff.

The d20 is one of the coolest inventions known to geekdom.

That aside, it's say it's Neutral Evil. It's not lawful, because lawful people don't directly break the law. It's not chaotic because there's a bunch of teamwork and practicing that clearly went into it. So you go with the between value.

I more meant the fact that they'd randomly go from robbing a store to saving it. I'm not sure coordination necessarily contradicts chaos (well, from a DnD standpoint), but I suppose you'd know better in that regard.

Jason Jordan is the type of guy that I don't believe will succeed even with the proper support from management. He reminds me of a list of guys like Jack Swagger, Drew McIntyre, or Damian Sandow.

Sandow was massively over until he got buried at the end of the Miz feud and relegated to jobber status. I mean, not only was he tagging, but he was tagging with CURTIS AXEL >_> Yeah, Axelmania was a fun gimmick, but Axel was *still* a job guy that whole run.

As for Swagger, he had the look, he had the ability, but he was never going to have the mic skills. He's a great performer but that can only get you so far. Chris Masters was more of a total package (well, his work wasn't nearly as good as Swagger's), but he kept getting busted for substance abuse iirc.

What about gifted? I believe California allows the gifting of guns but said transfer must be done through a licensed retailer. I do wonder how many folks ignore this though or how lax said transfer is in other states.

Given that many are minors, they can't legally gift them the gun in the first place-- afaik, anyway, and it may vary by state. As a general practice, I'm not sure how common it may be anyway. The vast majority of guns are purchased for use or straw-purchased.

Define "legally bought." At some point, most guns were legally purchased. However, in the case of student shootings, usually the gun was legally purchased by a relative then stolen by the shooter.

-An accidental discharge where nobody was hurt
-A single bullet fired through a window where, again, nobody was hurt

So unless you're arguing that banning guns would stop suicides, immediately you're crossing off some of your nonsense. That's not counting the deaths which resulted from domestic disputes which happened to occur on school grounds and would have been easily done with a knife, etc.

Otherwise the problems got worse AFTER regulation, which shows that your approach is ass-backwards and a ban would likely do nothing to do solve the issue of violence, suicide, etc. Oh, as for all of your mass shooting hype, mass shootings account for something like half a percent of gun deaths and gun deaths accounts for a bit less than half of murders which, in turn, account for a far smaller % of deaths than other issues. Oh, and by the way, roughly half of all violent crime is gang-related yet I don't see a peep out of you about gangs.

No, it HEAVILY enforces regulations and it has tons of them on the books. The problem is that gun-free zones turn people into victims and the majority of regulations have been counterproductive.

Meanwhile other, more prevalent issues -- such as with alcohol -- have steadily been on the rise and the most we've seen to counter that are PSAs. If litigious crusaders put a fraction of the effort into alcohol control as they did gun control, we'd see far fewer overall deaths *including* fewer gun deaths considering that murder is often linked to alcohol consumption.

Am I the only one who thinks that "Am I the only one?" questions are one of the stupidest fucking things out there?

And, while PG had mixed reception, I thought it was a decent enough game. The sequel improved the dungeon design and had some more dynamic bosses, although the train system was somehow even more cumbersome than sailing. The controls were the *least* of the problems.
