I remember liking the movie when I was younger but checking its RT score now and it's much lower than I would have thought. Yea I enjoy that kind of stuff, but I can see why it wouldn't resonate with audiences, especially the modern audience. I like the narration, the color gradient, the kind of noir style they were going for with it. I also enjoyed when he took out Val. Where is the limit? why is nobody asking why it happened in the first place? Israel encroaching on the West Bank and stealing settlements wholesale from the Palestinians. Jailing, beating, maiming, killing kids. Forcing an entire group of people into whats essentially a walled city, limiting their movements for years. It is on Hamas as well, but lets not pretend this is a war it is not a war at this point that much is clear. Israel wants Gaza. They got business moguls already divvying up land. They openly brag about it. I just wish they'd actually yknow... get the terrorists instead of razing the entire city, infrastructure, schools, hospitals, water capabilities. That's pretty fucked up when a majority of the dead are women and children that had nothing to do with the conflict.
