And I got that from reading comments of people on a few different type moon forums and subreddits from people who actually have the art book in question from the Japanese release, I dont have the art book myself so I can only repeat what I have heard from others

Her whole background is extraordinarily convoluted, but the author decided to have her stop aging at 12 when she was taken over, killed, and made immortal in the remake due to the updated timeline. The main takeaway is that her body is fully developed so this isn't a case of "looking like a prepubescent child but she's actually 1000."

More Sony censorship and yet people will tell you companies censor stuff completely voluntarily when working with Sony.

I do think it's nuts that this stuff keeps happening and people keep insisting it isn't. Regardless of how you feel about it how are people still claiming Sony doesn't do this?

Maybe these censorships wouldn't happen if devs stop making their characters look like children.

The character does not look like a child, but they are most certainly underage in context of the game.

I literally have no skin in this, I just dont know why people are so up in arms about a naked underage character

The question should simply be if it's provocative or not. Seems like people are still treating nudity as inherently provocative, even users who I've seen actively criticize that mentality. I guess it's because it's anime so the well is poisoned? There's nudity of children in the Simpsons movie and mainstream tarot cards.

That's the original. Remake makes some changes to the lore since it's an alternate timeline. Though she started aging after Roa was defeated anyway.

To be fair thats on me for reporting what people who own the art book from the Japanese release have mostly speculated to be the offending piece which is Ciel as she looks when she is possessed by Roa at the age of 12(which is naked aside from a little cape) when he went around murdering and raping her village and that the page in question specifically states that this is her as her body was at age 12

since they havent stated what exactly being altered we can only guess at this point, it might literally be them just editing out the parts where it states her age for all we really know at this point

Looking at the page right now and not seeing anything about her age. Says . Haven't played the game but that's something like Roashieru. Just the name of the character. It doesn't look 12, but I never played the game.

I did and stand by my statements

Nothing special happened to Ciel at the age of 12 in the original Tsukihime. It's possible that the remake made it so that Roa took over when she was 12 rather than 16. But her body clearly still aged past that point before he was separated from her.

Whether or not Sony is doing it (they are), isn't the debate here.
Sony has the free speech right to choose what content they wish to host on their servers.

That doesn't mean Sony has a GOOD reason.

I tried to upload a censored version for game facts but the file was too big.

Which was censored in Japan and not America. So Sony Japan has censored Sony California.

To be clear, Aniplex is owned by Sony Music, which is a different branch of the company from Sony Interactive Entertainment. They have different rules and standards. Fate/Grand Order is owned by the former, and there are some character designs that would NOT fly on a Playstation release.

I did actually find scans of the full book, and it DOES confirm my theory from post #82. People seem to be misinterpreting it and conflating the art with the character's backstory.
