| XboxLegendary 04/10/18 8:46:04 PM #1 | I was going to make a new gmail account so I could get a new YT account, and of course, it's asking for a phone number. Sometimes Google won't require a phone number and I'm able to make a account. However more often than not, it requires one. I'm use to that, but what I found strange is when I click on the box to type in a number (to see if I could bypass it) an auto-complete box pops up with MY PHONE NUMBER as a suggestion. Seriously, what the frick?! I know it's probably location tracking but I have never given my number to Google. Even when using my browser's private mode it still shows up. Seriously Google...WHAT THE FRICK?! This is some Orwellian shit. |

The Walker brothers (Doug and Rob) are being accused of turning content creators into slave laborers, not to mention accusations of sexual abuse that went on for YEARS at Channel Awesome. Don't believe me, do ya? Well it's all in this Google Docs: I remember watching Nostalgia Critic back in 2008, my friend showed him to me in Highschool. I remember laughing real hard. But now I look at him, I just want to punch my screen knowing what he';s responsible for...cruelty towards content creators...firing said creators for no reason, and the sexual misconduct?! The only downside is that if you ever have to recover your password you lose access to any e-mails pre-password recovery >_>. I did try that but deviantart doesn't allow Protonmail. More sites need to be like reddit-no email required! |

Google, Yahoo, Outlook...they all want phone numbers. Even Yandex wants a phone number! HELP! PLEASE! I am sick of these big tech companies wanting phone numbers...that's personal info! With all the darn data breaches, you'd think they'd get rid of the phone number verification thing. HELP! That's personal info, you can't have my phone number! *sigh* I miss they days where you could make 10 Yahoo emails in a day if you wanted. Those days are GONE! |
