You could also have a room with a door that closes after X amount of time passes (from the moment the player goes in the room) with a power up behind it. You could go fast and get it, but if you fail, you'll eventually reach the other side of the door later on in the game. |

| VixYW 07/12/18 9:09:48 AM #22 | Ohohoho the original C1 was worse, trust me. Crash felt heavy as a tank and was really unresponsive, taking to long to move and not stopping when you needed. And you couldn't even save when you wanted. The remake is great tho, and the physics are really good, it's just that the first game is hard as heck. If you want a nice learning curve, start with the third and make your way downwards until the first. Ultima_Dragoon posted... There's also the newly-rounded edges. Before, you either made a jump or you didn't. Like Mario, you could be 80% off the ledge but you're still safe as long as your toe is touching. Now, if you get to close to any ledge or platform, Crash has a tendency to slide off. It's more realistic but makes for a frustrating platforming experience. Few people notice that this actually makes the game easier because you can jump while slipping out, making it extremely forgiving for when you jump too late, but killing you if your landing is sloppy (which will never happen if you exploit the former). |

The problem lies in the fact that you may have found yourself in a dead end that is obvious that you need to use an ability you don't have yet, to earn that ability 10 in game hours later and don't remember exactly where that dead end was. If the player can somehow mark the map to remember where to come back later, I think it would make things 1000 times better. |

Well, I guess it can't be helped in my case as there aren't many employees here besides me, so my work can't just be done by someone else. And yeah, I got threatened to get fired for showing up late, that happens when you have to use public transport. And a ton of other stupid shit got me threats before, I had to restrain myself to not laugh at my boss face when it happened. |

| VixYW 07/10/18 4:54:15 PM #20 | Most cases I've experienced you just can't move at all outside the map. There are only 2 that allowed me to do so. One of them never "cleaned" up the screen in that area, so you could leave infinite after images in that void. It was cool at first, but the downside is that you lose all sense of distance, meaning you can't tell if you hit a wall or not. The other I was so hyped to keep playing that I used a teleport item to get rid of the glitch. But I think there was a point with no "floor" anymore, so you would fall endlessly from the edge of the world. Foppe posted... Revelation34 posted...Foppe posted...Think of it like this. Reminds me of that glitch in Digimon World 3 where the final boss dealt so much damage to a lv1 Renamon that the health variable would loop backwards and make her immortal for the rest of the fight. |

The only way to grow is to prepare beforehand to make yourself comfortable with that first, but life is a bitch and almost never gives us enough time to do so. |

They didn't even looked at me like I wasn't there at all. I also have 100% of chance of dreaming about killing someone when I'm mad at them when I go to sleep. There was also a time when I had my hand full of blood for no reason. No injury anywhere. Can't explain how the heck that happened. I guess it's some kind of power I didn't fully developed yet (and I'm not sure if want to develop it ever). And lastly, I can fly for a while if I jump from a tall building. The taller it is, the longer I can fly before touching the ground. |
