The first console I owned was a PS1, and I got it as a gift in 2002(I think?) Christmas.

Doesn't mean I never played on other consoles earlier than that tho. Just had to work really hard to convince my parents to buy one, so I had to be really selective about which one I wanted. And as you might have figured out, the newest generation machines were out of the affordable price range at the time.

All I know is that it's the latest entry in the Heroes sub series, which are mostly a series of card games for arcades in Japan (don't ask me how this works, I have no idea), tho they had a few portable entries as well, but that's probably the first home console one. It plays similar to that action figure mini game from Xenoverse 2, but the appeal is that you can find some absurdly cool characters in it, like adult Gotenks or SS3 Gohan.

Yeah, but there's a catch: there's no reason to make something stop working tomorrow just because the system is obsolete when it was working just fine yesterday.

that is super not how development works. there's no switch that get flipped, there comes a time that supporting an older version requires too many resources that could be devoted to making stable versions better. old systems may simply not support new features at all, so there's no longer a consistent product and you're essentially developing a separate product for an edge case that doesn't justify it. developers usually inform customers ahead of time that their stuff might break if they don't upgrade as a courtesy but there's no obligation

That depends. There are programs out there that don't suport older systems, but you can keep using an older version to a certain extent that does support it. In Steam's case, I don't see why playing the games already installed on your machine would require you to update the client, thus forcing you to update the whole system.

It's yet another nice reference to Accel World, and given the amount of time he needed to learn it, it's being fair to its origins.

It took kirito like one day to start using it effectively to not only beat the strongest swordsman but also perform magic that brings plants back to life. It was a dumb thing in accel world too. If you are going to use a power system I want it to be a defined power systems so I can correctly gauge peoples strength and try to figure out their actions. Imagination power sets everyones strength == ??? so anyone can do anything at any moment "plausibly":. A random 4 year old on the street could walk up and kick kirito's ass as long he really believes he can.

It's not like they are imagining something complex where intellect or creativity even come into the eqaution. It's literally just imagining "I'm gonna hit him so hard he won't be able to withstand it". Ignore reality in order to succeed. Considering the entire rest of the show is crafting a reality just to be ignored, I don't like that.

From what I got, it took him at least the whole year in the academy to get it, if not the two years ha was stuck there, and he probably only got so far in that match due to the boost of confidence of having a sword that allowed the use of 4 hit skills - and that wasn't a victory btw.

The whole incarnation system isn't as simple as imagining you can do something. You have to blindly believe that what you want to do is possible. You basically have to overwrite your own view of the world in order to overwrite the system. Took Haru a whole week of spartan training to barely learn a single technique, and all that time for Kirito to notice that something like that was in play and grasp the basics of its workings. It's not exactly an ass pull like some make it out to be.

Then the last survivor besides me confessed to be the culprit while hugging me, asking me to praise her. Idk what I did after, but I remember feeling really dumb for not catching her before she killed everyone.

Then I woke up in the middle of the night with my throat dry (I guess she sliced my neck or something, I think I had that uncomfortable feeling in my throat before waking up) and went to sleep again after a glass of water. This time, the dream was about me dying inside an elevator.

I wonder if I should be worried about this stuff...

My cat just loves plastic bag balls. No other toy works for her. She runs all over the apartment hunting the thing until it ends beneath the sofa beyond her reach. She then just sits there looking at us, waiting for someone to take it out so she can continue playing.

She also love to bite things. Sometimes I wear one of my old jackets, cover my hand with the sleeve and lets she do whatever she wants with it while I watch TV.

And boxes. Every week I bring a new one home, nothing in the world makes her happier (tho she just destroys them in the end). No need to ask why we named her Pandora.

So my younger sister came up with the freaking brilliant idea of playing Doki Doki Literature Club with me. We both already knew that there was some serious shit hidden behind the cute presentation, but honestly speaking, I thought that was just casuals overreacting to some murder/suicide story. I mean, it can't be worse than Higurashi, Umineko, Chaos;Head, etc... right?

Wrong. I underestimated that piece of crap by a huge mile and now I shall pay the consequences. Because it turns out the game isn't about that at all. It's a goddamn "glitch horror" game! No one ever told me that! WTF?! Had I knew this beforehand I would have avoided going into this!

Yeah, I'm really weak to this kind of thing. But my sister fell in love with it and now I'm screwed. My pride (and curiosity) won't let me drop this while she plays it to the end.

But goddammit... how am I supposed to endure playing it from start to finish again whit this mess going on? I just had to stop yesterday in Natsuki's 1st event when her eyes and mouth glitched out with that noise coming straight from hell raped my ears and Monika just told IT WAS NORMAL.

No spoilers, but does it get worse than that?!

Who am I fooling, of course it does...

Looking at things flat, I had 2, but I don't think the second one counts because even thought we bragged about being dating, we were just trying to know each other better and I "broke up" in less than 3 weeks. As for the other... neither me or her made it official between ourselves or anyone else, but we treated each other as boyfriend and girlfriend when we were alone together. Then we just "split up" at some point for no apparent reason and recently got together again.

Kinda complicated to understand what's exactly going on, but honestly, we're both fine with it, so I guess that's what counts.
