It's great. She's a Jewish girl with a bangin' booty. She goes to the gym a lot, that's where I met her, and she plays a lot of sports it sounds like. She's in great shape. And it'll probably be the reason that I potentially make the worst "mistake" of my life.

Okay, so I went on the date, and it went well overall, but thinking back on it, some of the things she said is kind of making me re-think this whole thing.

She mentioned having a horribly abusive mother that made her miserable for most of her life and abandoned her. An aunt that blames her for her parent's divorce. She says she has mood swings and she use to be really violent and was taking medicine at one point. She has "episodes" that creep up on her sometimes that make it hard to go to sleep. She's mentioned being in terrible relationships in the past. She doesn't like people and stays inside her apartment 90% of the time. She's currently trying to join a wrestling team and she said this to me, "I'm going to be the only girl there, so I'll probably be wrestling guys. That's okay. I've fought plenty of guys before." One of her family members made suggestive comments toward her when she was a teenager despite him being twice her age.
And there's some other major deep-seated issue that she kept constantly alluding to, but never went into detail about.

At the very least, she's really sweet when she's talking to me >_>

I asked her out yesterday. I figured it was the right time to do it since we've been talking a lot and she's been sending me lots of pictures over text message. We're going to a parade.

This is a wonderful idea! It's about time that us artsy-fartsy type had a social style topic of our own. Unless there was already one and I haven't been paying attention. Anyway, I would love to find the time to make something for this.

I haven't forgotten about this, might as well post an update. I ended up being really unhappy with her face; I have that problem a lot where things look great proportionally in lineart, but once the details and shading are added, everything looks just off enough to bug me. Gonna adjust the eye size, nose and mouth position and redo the coloring next time I get a chance to work on this (also need to redo the neck, that turned out really off). But at least the hair turned out nice - that's the one coloring aspect in which I'm very confident.

besides you, I've only ever known one guy who was self-conscious of his toes - my cousin.

I remember him crying once when he was a kid at how busted his toenails were, lol.

A couple of my toenails are straight black. It's really bad lol.

I'd like to try. As far as I've seen from her, she's a pretty cool person. To me, anyway.

This girl I'm interested in. We were texting earlier and she was telling me about how she's healing from personal issues that creep up on her sometimes. This led to her telling me about the abuse she endured from her mother growing up and how it has affected her in her adult life. She went on about removing bad friends from her life and relationships she's had in the past that didn't end well. I really like her, but dang, I just feel bad now. I just hope she's alright. At least, according to her, talking to me makes her feel better.

Honestly the best fanfic is stuff that takes somewhat obscure bits of canon and fleshes them out.

According to her, it's supposed to be about Grevious' grandmother who was only ever briefly mentioned in some Star Wars thing.

Edit - Going by what I've read so far, Grevious' grandmother and the Kaleesh/Kolkpravis people are allying with Jedis and going to war with a group called the "Bitthvrians". And one other Master Jedis that's overseeing the whole operation is a pos that discriminates against Kaleesh people and see them as lesser beings. This is honestly pretty neat so far.

Yeah, I think so. I have to google most of this terminology because she namedrops a lot of planets and groups/species in the Star Wars universe. I asked her about the characters. All of the names she used are original except Greivious' real last name. I've learned more about this character on the first page alone than any of the Star Wars stuff I've paid attention to, such as his last name being "Sheelal" and that his species are called Kaleesh and they wear bone masks.

I don't know. Where ever General Grevious' origins take place. I think aside from him and some others, a lot of the characters are original. I'm not very knowledgeable on Star Wars stuff.
