You should definitely create an instagram account just for your art. I think itd be really motivating to see your account grow and itd help keep you accountable to keep posting.

Thanks! I've been off and on about making a Deviant Art account or something along those lines. I'm not really sure why the idea intimidates me sometimes, but I think it have something to do with DA itself...

There's definitely potential there and as a hobby it's fine but it's far from professional quality. Try making one of your pencil sketches into smooth line art, either digitally or with the pencil.

I've done a few of those actually:






I usually leave the chicken scratch look on the initial drawings because sometimes, if I like it enough, I'll scan it into my computer and go over it/ink it/color it with a tablet.

Jubilee is my favorite X-Men, so I have to go with her. It's a shame that she gets such a bad rep because of the X-Men animated series. I like her in the cartoon but she is definitely a toned down version of her more layered comicbook counterpart.

Not really. The main inspiration from the cartoon is the cast of characters it primarily focus on (Storm, Wolverine, Beast, Gambit, Rogue, Jubilee, etc.). Other than that, it's a whole different thing within that Battleworld event.

I can't say I'm familiar with you but it's always nice to see people actively drawing. It's hard for me to judge others since there are lots of stuff about drawing I'm not good at myself. Its one of those things that I picked up on my own and learn as I go. I should probably go to art school.
