No, sadly. The initial model they had on the display had both a 15-35 lens and a 55-215 lens. But it was around $800. I decided to stick with the one that just had the 15-35 lens. I'd like to get more down the line thought.

Despite all the time I put into it, I imagine that I'm not very far in the story but I just ran into A2. I'm enjoying this game way more than I thought, by the way. I love the little unrelated banters that the characters have on the side. Like how 9S is really trying to get 2B to call him "Nines," and her telling him how that's stupid and unnecessary. She accidentally almost calls him that during the last mission I played.

it can be upgraded and because of the speed, imo it's one of the best weapons in the game =)

btw, self-destruct. do it a lot. it doesn't kill you, it leaves you with 1hp and then you can just heal up and enjoy the viewwwww

That's great to know about the sword! Now about self-destruct, I think I almost did it accidentally.
I have this habit of pressing L3 and R3 together sometimes for no real reason. I did it and she started screaming and freaking out for a quick half-second. If that's how you do it, I'm glad it's something you have to hold down to pull off.

That's not actually a problem, almost all weapons are pretty good in that game, including the ones you start with.

So far, it's the only thing I've upgraded and I'm working on putting another upgrade to it.

And since that opening is no longer the one they use I was curious about whether or not you had seen it. ~_^

Also yeah, same thing happened to me, lol. Only I tried sticking it out. Did a bad-ass job surviving, but the parade wasn't so lucky since I couldn't take out the machines in time.
There's one side mission I found in a canyon that ended up making me fight an enemy I was HUGELY underleveled for. I could've stuck it out there, but didn't want to take an hour to beat him because I was doing so little damage.

How many more times do I have to fight this clown?

I think two or three more times. I recommend waiting until later to do him, I think he gets up to level 60.

Definitely. He was really tedious to beat that last time and he was taking half of my health every time he hit me. Thankfully, I have a ridiculous amount of healing items, so after 30+ minutes, I got him. I decided to wait until I'm a higher level to fight him again.
