i was one of the last to hang around nationstates b8 region after the last time it was brought up, with my two regions being... Apocoreveria and Hypocretia if I remember right. At the time it was active I think apocoreveria had the worst economy out of all of them lmao

i don't recommend joining the world assembly or whatever, there are some perks but you also get affected by decisions made in votes there which unruined my economy (greatest tragedy)

jokes aside, the first thing that comes to mind, though it probably isn't the best option, is 200% Mixed Juice, a doujin (indie) JRPG so streamlined that outside of its Pokemon-like combat (playable online) approximately 90% of it is vn-esque dialogue (and the other 10% is menus). With steam sales it's probably like a dollar right now and I'm always down for a game in it

No, VGMC11 was hot trash throughout. VGMC13 was absolutely loaded and somehow still produced an undeserving winner.

daring to agree on 11 here, it probably genuinely was the weakest bracket since 8, even with some rare songs that haven't been seen much elsewhere that I liked a lot

basically Touhou + Irisu Syndrome (by the creator of Irisu Syndrome). You can only fire one shot at a time, so you need to shoot colored blocks so they collide with other blocks of the same color, creating a chain reaction that destroys enemies/bullets. You have to piece together the story and such by reading the character profiles etc. that unlock as you play.

i keep sleeping on memories rushing by damn it's good

i might as well note the real lore reasons i picked out the wake up girls song for this for the many people who have and will not watch wake up girls

so basically, the "villain" group in the show is this bizarre proxy for akb48 called the i-1club (possibly also a salty jab at a-1 pictures). at some point the central figure in that group (who herself stole that position from the person who became the leader of wake up girls itself) has their position usurped and they're kicked out of the group entirely for no real reason besides drama. so the next storm group is basically just her, no longer relevant, coming back with a vengeance against i-1. the funny thing is though that her new group next storm is comedically dark and edgy to the point that they appear to be set up as the villains even though they're the underdogs, and this song certainly does not help even though it's secretly pretty great actually

oh yeah and the three groups end up competing in a movie and that song only plays for like 5 seconds, that's how little they actually qualify as a rival group

truthfully, i was originally going to pick another show by rock song instead except most of them don't have lyrics posted anywhere whereas this song somehow did
