They're muzzled, tied, fed through cages, forcibly restrained, and generally kept in awful environments. They don't get walked. They don't get to see the sun.

And the history of the breed as a something specifically designed for fighting is well documented. They were bred to be, and still are, killing machines.

So explain how Pit Bulls who were bred to be loyal to people are suddenly the only ones of those dogs that are violent by nature when everyone else loves akitas. Its almost as if bad owners are causing it.

European terrier associations refused to admit pit bulls when they were first bred on account of not wanting to be associated with dog fights.

No there actually aren't that many. It's pretty much just the APBT and AST. Lots of dogs get used in dog fighting for sure but only a few were deliberately bred exclusively for it.
