TLDR - Pulse is actually better for most of Childe's kit. As Riptide Slash represents a relatively small amount of his total DPS in most situations, and his charged attacks are good but not something you spam constantly, they wind up evening out or slightly favoring Pulse.

Childe mains did some theorycrafting and found the new bow to be 0.04% worse than pulse under optimal rotations or some shit like that. Unless you wanted to use pulse on someone else there's no reason to roll for the new bow.

As for me, Skyward Harp itself is only 3% worse than pulse and I ain't spending hundreds of dollars good 3% more damage lol

If you get Albedo, if Childe stands on the flower elevator, he can hit people inside Venti's tornado. If you've got a pyro absorption in the mix, this translates to turbo unlimited vape.

I've always held the opinion that Tartaglia was constellation dependent. At least much more so than any other 5* in the game. There's no one single thing that switches him from crap to God tier like Bennett C1 but every constellation he's got is a measurable improvement in both damage and quality of life.

Obviously all characters are usable at C0, but not all C0s are equal and Tartaglia C0 gets completely shit on by characters like Xiao, Ganyu, and Venti. It just feels so good to play C6 Tartaglia y'know.

Qiqi might end up bad at utilizing it, depending on how they implement the bubble counter.
Now, if it counts every single instance of Qiqi healing? Yeah, Qiqi superconduct is gonna be hilarious.

So "as written" which means fuck all based on Mihoyo's track record with Venti and Raiden, every 3.5s it begins building a bubble based on the healing you get which pops dealing 90% of the healing as damage and 50% of it as healing.

It's unclear if you still get the heals as the bubble is building or if the bubble will apply to off field characters and if it doesn't what happens if you swap mid bubble.

Basically if it works such that I can be wait for the bubble to appear and then swap to someone like Raiden and go ham for 3 seconds on an enemy with Qiqi's talisman then this is potentially the best support artifact set in the game.

If the bubble just disappears on switch then... Well I wouldn't say useless but it's basically just going to make Qiqi do a lot more damage but she will still fall short of real DPS.

MGS predates Syphon Filter by a little bit. I'd be surprised if that was the first instance of the idea though, surely it was in science fiction somewhere before that.

Edit: I looked up a bunch of related information, and maybe MGS does deserve credit for being first here? The only older references in fiction I can find are either just magic targeted killing with no basis in plausible science or about using bioweapons against targeted groups but without the targeting being built into the weapon.

If you're going to find anything earlier it's probably going to be in a Phillip K Dick story somewhere.

Honestly, I significantly downplayed Tartaglia's C6 even when I got it, but I'm rapidly beginning to understand how useful it really is. It's so helpful with running him with Kazuha and taking advantage of his quadratic scaling.

His melee Ult is quite spammable thanks to Raiden, too. And it does a crap load of damage.

Yeah. I know a lot of people say he's great at C0 but every single constellation he has is incredible. Even C1.

Kokomi taser works but it's essentially just what people do if they don't have Mona. Mona is hard to get for most people so for some this is the only way they can run taser but no reason to pretend Mona isn't better in every way.

This isn't a Kazuha vs Venti/Sucrose situation where Kazuha kinda does a little of both. Kokomi is just Barbara++. She does not do what the other damage oriented hydro characters do.

Mona: Taunts (which groups enemies spreading reactions), Increases reaction damage, disable/CCs enemies, has a huge nuke, never at any point needs to be on field longer than it takes to use her abilities

Tartaglia: High speed melee DPS whose damage scaling becomes quadratic when enemies are grouped (most other characters are linear)

Xingqiu: High damage single Target hydro applicator meant for vape or freeze compositions.

Like I said I haven't really kept up with the specifics. They say Diona and Sucrose snapshot but don't say anything about Albedo who also has an elemental mastery buff. General trend seems to be if it dumps shit on the ground that you can stand in, it can be snapshot.

Of course in the scenario described it's not likely you'd be held liable as the fence makes it pretty clear the trespasser knows they're not supposed to be there but in general "I wasn't home when it happened" isn't a defense.
