I'd probably watch it on account of it being one of the last pieces of traditional animation Disney ever did. Winnie the Pooh was the last one to be released in theaters and this one came out a few years later.

Ive been doing lessons on Duolingo for about 20 days now. Im still very early on in this effort, but Im starting to be able to read hiragana without the romanization being shown. Itll probably take me quite a while before Im comfortable doing that, but progress is being made.

Ive started noticing some small things in hiragana like ha being pronounced wa, which has prompted me to Google stuff and learn about the history behind the pronunciation change. Pretty cool, imo.

Something that really fucking kills me with pronunciation is the implied consonants. reading (hitori) is pronounced "shtori"

I think the ideal would be to have a headpiece that's small enough to still look natural with normal winter clothes on, and then maybe paw gloves.

There's a lot of people who do exactly that. Though you'll want the headpiece to have a wide collar to tuck it under the shirt. The idea is you don't want your skin to show.

on advice from posters in an earlier topic, i stuck to the traditional lamp paradigm, aside from using a distributed version of sqlite. long way to go, esp. before parity with gamefaqs' feature set, but at least the stack is tied together and the most basic functionality is working.

Most people have already moved to threadzone. We've got I think over 120 registrations already and most of the gamefaqs functionality is already there plus extra like nested quotes & gif uploading.

It's pretty cool to do this just to learn how to do it for yourself of course but by large I think we're all going to settle on threadzone. Some people on threadzone can't post on CE anymore.

Probably not an increase in the actual rate, just more victims willing to speak up and more people willing to listen.

I can buy the rate is increasing too since teachers today seem to be younger. All you need to teach is a college degree in some places and occasionally special training / certification. With women graduating college at a higher rate, it makes sense that over time the trend towards educators will shift to having more women. Assuming the number of rapists remains proportional, there will be an actual increase of incidents along with victims being taken more seriously.

That and young horny boys are less likely to understand they're being taken advantage of until it's too late.
