From what I've seen of this game it's just whoever goes first wins because they just draw their entire deck in one turn and win.

I'm not taking either side because as many have stated, there's no hard evidence. But it's kind of crazy to think that if the math is correct, Hans out of nowhere just became THE best chess player in history with insane chess computer like play with 20-30% correlation higher than the greats.

So on top of Magnus' suspecting of Hans' cheating, Hans' cheating past and admitting to it, and apparently chess.com admitting that Hans has cheated more than he has actually admitted, here is the math version of why he is speculated of cheating, gotten from a reddit comment:

"Short summary; There is a high correlation (which is above 70%) with the best computer moves. It shows some examples of moves and sequences of moves that are highly suspicious from a human perspective.

ChessBase scores Niemann at 100 percent correlation to computer moves in about 10 games the last years, and no other player in history has come close to that in tournaments (there was a 98% correlation in 2010 which were proved to be cheating). Single games with great correlation can occur but not 100%. Analysis shows that you can win tournaments with "as low" as 50% correlation to the best suggested computer moves. Kasparov, Magnus and Fisher are at 69-72% lifetime. For 5 straight tournaments last year Niemann had an average of 73% and in the last two years he's had about 10 games of 100 percent correlation with his moves compared to the chess computers recomennded move.

I don't think there will be a smoking bullet (maybe smelly bead??) as to how these results came about unless Niemann himself or his accomplice confess. But this analysis of his tournament games is a very very strong explaination that these results can't be replicated by humans."

amen to that... but working in a toxic environment really does a number on ones head. Thankfully, I don't have to deal with that anymore.
