I had fun with 2005 and honestly found it better than Heat (actual drifting game modes instead of overworld map mini objectives). Unbound is fun too although they shifted to cell shaded for the characters but the cars and other graphics themselves are still beautiful as ever.

If you think this is bad you should try the Suikoden series.

Not really complaining or thinking it's bad. Just tryna gage who's most useful. Or amazing personality and worth to the story even if they're slightly not as good as the other option

So far got Celine and Opera, which means I get Operas hubby? I kinda want Welch tho. And dunno who to choose between Precis and Bowman. Plan to get Dias and Chisato too (who I know is late game and I can only have a certain amount of party members when I reach her)

I love the beautiful 3D backgrounds with the cute little character sprites lol. I also love how early you can bust open the game. Stuff like literally auto levelling in the overworld by letting your party members be bodyguards and kill enemies for you

Ending was pretty disappointing.

They pull the "Big Baddy the whole show isn't actually shit" trope. Except when they teased that he survived and might be able to come back to become something, they double down and give him a terrible true ending. And they do that by teasing with "ally was a baddy all along" trope and...even that fizzles out lmao. Like wtf this guy was literally manipulating genma the whole show with telepathic shit the whole time and then you find out that...he's not even a genma himself and is literally nothing special or powerful what the fuck lmao

The last duel with Kojiro callback was decent. Even moreso that they did the historical thing of making Musashi use the oar. But eh.

From after Dawn of Dreams? That was so long ago I forgot what period it was in lol. And I guess technically this show is a sequel since Musashi was after Nobunaga/Hideyoshi times right?

Honestly I wished they'd remake the Onimusha series. It'd probably end up as a soulslike with Issen mechanics tho.

Interesting that they made this it's own original storyline instead of borrowing from any of the ones from the games.

Idk how I exactly feel about it yet. Would probably give it a 7 or so.

I guess it's cool to use Musashi but I feel like he's been an overused historical figure for these types of shows/movies. But it does make it interesting I guess since it makes use of his historical rivalries for potential opponents although I'm not so knowledged about the Yoshioka brothers.

I thought my Ducks would be terrible too but they've been surprisingly resilient to start out the year. I expect teams to figure them out and take advantage of their younger staff but they've been showing a lot of grit and the new coach has been friggin great so far

I wouldn't be surprised. The guy comes off as a bit two faced sometimes.
