Pain of Salvation - In the Passing Light of Day: Very late response (despite me reading it the same day it was posted) but it's worth noting that that album, and that song in particular, are based heavily on the lead singer coming very close to death from flesh eating bacteria, as doctors kept trying different antibiotics with no results. Anyway, ArkOfTurus has beaten Hyper Light Drifter. Cool game. I didn't come anywhere close to 100% it, but I think I'm good. "I think I'm good" was pretty much my reaction to the plot once I saw how it was being told. There might have been something interesting there, but I didn't engage with it enough to find out. The gameplay and exploration were solid, though. I loved the chain dashes (that really should have been an initial ability,) and had a lot of fun throughout the whole game, despite me putting it off as much as I did.
