Maybe they're saving the bunnygirl one for a HotS skin. Incidentally, they've made Easter-themed skins for HotS before whereas I don't think they've done that holiday in OW.

Anyway, Blizzard seems to enjoy watching D.Va fans for OW and HotS getting jelly at each other. OW fans bragged about getting Police D.Va while HotS fans fumed (especially since you had to complete an event in HotS to unlock it in OW), and then the shoe was on the other foot when Deathwing D.Va came out for HotS, and OW fans *still* want it pretty badly.

Now we've got catgirl D.Va in OW, so who knows what HotS will give her.

I've never had qualms with cosmetic-only lootboxes because, honestly, I wouldn't use or even want all the cosmetics anyway. For that matter, with the existence of "limited edition" options, it's impossible to collect everything in most games anyway, and that doesn't even involve randomness most of the time. (Didn't pre-order for those bonuses? Guess you'e missing out then.)

It's odd as well that people keep bringing up Overwatch when Smite was doing lootboxes for years prior, and I learned then what I apply to every other game with a similar system.

Don't want it all to begin with, can't have it all if I did. Which has the ironic side effect of making me never want to spend money on these things as I don't like the idea of paying for things I didn't want, and because 100% collection isn't feasible, I won't waste money just to end up with 90%+.

Though honestly the only races I *didn't* really play as were Imperial/Nord/Breton/Bosmer/Altmer. (Typically avoided using them as followers/stewards/spouses too when I could.)

My mom is technically the one who got me interested in video games, being the arcade junkie she was in her youth and the point & click/text adventure fiend she had become while being pregnant with/raising me. Hell, the woman bought an NES *for herself* on her 30th birthday and played it nearly everyday until she had her first stroke in her late 40s.

My sister also plays video games, started off simple just being 2-player in the stuff me and my brother played, but then one day she branched out and played some stuff on her own, and then we were alternating 1/2 player with her. Eventually she got to be the first of us to break into the world of MMOs and was even mine and my brother's first guild leader.

It's a large part of why I've always considered SJWs whining about video games to be full of absolute shit, because I've never known a time where the medium was a "boy's club" whether on consoles or PC. Hell, even the lusting after fictional characters isn't gender specific, my mom and sister alike thought Rei from Breath of Fire 3 was hot. (Apparently being attracted to cat people is genetic, who knew.)

It's possible, yes, but it ironically requires one to recognize that they're a beast themselves.

Animals eat other animals, and shockingly, a lot of animals also *respect* other animals. To that end, the only reason "compassionate about but also eats animals" seems hypocritical is because one is actively attempting to put themselves *above* animals with self-made standards, rather than acknowledging them as fellow life, that predates us by millions of years no less. (It's also why I like using "up on their high horse" on vegans, because it's wholly accurate to their attitude towards everyone and everything around them.)

Personally I care more about being "true" than "right" and being an omnivore means I have no qualms in partaking with the eating of meat and plants alike, and whereby there is no "correct" way because whether you do one or both, you'e not "pretending" about anything.

There's also the slight issue that plants are also "alive" in the most basic sense, but good luck convincing any vegan that they're hypocrites by their own rulebook, and they would sooner double-down then fathom the idea that they'e not so different from you in the grand scheme of things. (Gosh, so much for that unbridled sense of empathy, eh?)

You can also play Starcaft: Brood War for free too.

Anyway, I don't know about "best" but there's many that I still play all these years later despite any short-comings, it also provides me some variety. (Everything from MMOs to a roguelike.)

I couldn't say if the new movies are good or bad as I haven't seen them, but then, it's probably telling that I don't want to see them.

It was my biggest fear that the new movies would just be an excuse to kill off my favorite characters while replacing them with ones I don't care about, and that's exactly what has happened based on the spoilers I've heard/seen. They can't even pull the "look, more Star Wars films!" hype card because they blew that one already, and the prequels burned me pretty fucking bad at that. (I remember a time when Darth Vader was my favorite villain of all time, now I just feel embarrassed that I ever thought he was cool.)

I'd say "obligated" is perhaps too strong a word, but rather "recommended" is what I would advise them.

Nothing good ever comes from hiding it, and I say that as someone who isn't personally opposed to the idea of romantic/sexual interactions with transsexuals. What I *do* take massive grievance with though is dishonesty, and I make it a point to stop dealing with people who act that way regardless of who or what they are.
