that's how almost all of them work in every game that gives them to you straight up.

other games, like for example, most mobile gachas don't give you loot boxes. they'll give you "gems" or whatever the fuck equivalent that you can buy loot boxes with at any time on various different gacha events.

Maybe they're saving the bunnygirl one for a HotS skin. Incidentally, they've made Easter-themed skins for HotS before whereas I don't think they've done that holiday in OW.

Anyway, Blizzard seems to enjoy watching D.Va fans for OW and HotS getting jelly at each other. OW fans bragged about getting Police D.Va while HotS fans fumed (especially since you had to complete an event in HotS to unlock it in OW), and then the shoe was on the other foot when Deathwing D.Va came out for HotS, and OW fans *still* want it pretty badly.

Now we've got catgirl D.Va in OW, so who knows what HotS will give her.

That's interesting but understandable if you like shooters better than mobas. Personally I think HotS does what it's trying to do better than Overwatch does.

I liked hots enough to put 2000+ hours into it but once I started playing OW the hots matches felt too long. And I hate not being able to switch heroes if I get countered
