hell yeah, if you like Monster you'll probably like Pluto. One of my few complaints about Urasawa's stories is that they can be kind of meandering sometimes. But I think Pluto is by far the best paced of any of his works

And yeah, you don't need any knowledge of Astro Boy to enjoy it. It's fun to draw parallels between Pluto and the original story if you're familiar with it, but it's definitely enjoyable as a standalone story.

An adaptation of one of the best manga of all time, I've been waiting for this since it was announced years ago. I'm no good at selling things, but it's one of the most famous Astro Boy arcs interpreted as a murder mystery/thriller. It's by the guy who did MONSTER, 20th Century Boys, etc. really good shit please watch it ^_^

Dr. Tenma & Dr. Ochanomizu from Astro Boy. I never considered it til I read this spinoff manga where they are college roommates, but they actually have a great dynamic. They're both Astro's dad in different ways, so i think they should get married

I have my own place fairly close by where cornman stays a lot of the time. I have been wanting a cat for a while, but I frankly have trouble taking care of myself consistently due to physical disability/ depression. I wouldn't want that to negatively impact a pet if I take them in. Like I dont think it'll go unfed or anything but im not sure I'd be consistently able to clean up after it.

I have a 2TB seagate portable drive that's about 8 years old, it's having problems with erasing new files lately and i'm getting nervous.

Probably 5-10 TB would be good, longevity is important to me but idk if there's any brands particularly known for that.
