Ok this is bullshit, apparently jalapeos can be 2500-8000 scovilles, and the pink carbonara is only 2400. Most jalapeos are pretty mild to me, but even the spiciest ones don't affect me like these noodles. What the heck

In general I dont think I have a particularly low spicy tolerance, like I can handle a lot of things no problem that are too spicy for cornman or my family or something. But everytime I eat these buldak noodles it seems to affect me wayy more than anyone else

Melon flavor is SO fucking good, im so passionate about proper melon flavored snacks

I assume its unavailability in the US is just because the flavor is based on the Japanese muskmelon (probably Shizuoka crown), and they just aren't grown here. It only became legal to import the fresh fruit into the US about a year ago, so they certainly aren't widely available or known. Any 'melon' stuff from the western hemisphere is going to be based on watermelon/cantaloupe/honeydew or some ungodly amalgamation of all of them

I hope that melon flavored snacks become more popular globally with time, especially with the recent melon import lift. Btw you can import a bottle of melon syrup and make your own sodas by adding it to seltzer water

friends of mineral town is a remake of back to nature on the PS. I played the series from the snes release up to the last GameCube release, maybe another after but I lost interest around then.

idk if it was burnout or the change in graphics but AWL / Magical melody were the two games where I felt HM started going downhill.

i played the new remake of friends of mineral town on the switch, hated the graphics but damn does that game still hold up imo.

Oh I had no idea FoMT was a remake, I definitely have the most fond memories of that one

Yeah i avoided the fomt remake because the art was so ugly >_> the AWL character models look pretty decent this time, im glad they've dropped the massive head/tiny body look

And yeah, the graphics seem like the biggest turn-off about the remake. I wish those fuckers at Natsume hadn't fucked them over with the Harvest Moon branding, I feel like the series lost a lot of its cuteness thanks to that lawsuit.
