dunno if you already know this by the time i'm posting but you just gotta do other quests while picking up tracks from all the areas to fill up the meter. it's not just in the ancient forest! took me a while to get this too

once you get enough tracks, you should get a story quest.

so anyway, i spent almost 2 hours trying to hunt that damned beetlejuice with my bone switch axe and failing miserably.

upgraded my thunder insect glaive to the highest level available right now with hr tobi mats, which got me blue sharpness. fucking destroyed that dumb monster with zero problems. got its tail too! didn't have to wait forever to have a window to attack when i was just flying with it!

anyway i'm gonna be on for a couple of hours. will see if i can challenge nergigante for real now.

i can also just join others for other low rank or optional hr rank quests. will put the squad session id here in a bit.
