Plus I always thought you had to concentrate to feel someone through the Force. Or if it was a threat then your senses would kick in, but if Luke was being lazy and Chewie wasn't posing any threat then it's likely he just wouldn't have known he was there. That's my interpretation at least.

That theory is thrown out because Luke has a few scenes where he is connected to Leia, though that might just be a "twin thing" and not the Force, so... Made it seem like the brother-sister connection was similar to what was going on with Rey-Ren, but that was just to trick us.

Yoda's scene was amazing. One of the best scenes in the movie, we now know that Force Ghost can do something, which gives me hope for Luke making an appearance in IX.

I didn't really like alot of the humor that was in this movie. The only scene where I found funny that I remember was when Rey's eyes were closed and trying to reach for the Force and Luke trolled her. That was gold.

Also, they should've switched Rose with her much more attractive sister. Come on, Disney. I now understand why Fin was pissed off, should've let him sacrifice his life to spark the flames of rebellion instead.

Nobody came to help the Rebels except Luke. That was interesting. But he didn't really come so wtf.

I thought it made perfect sense. He's just as arrogant as any other dark side character and that ultimately leads to his demise.

Totally makes sense because Kylo Ren didn't realize that Luke didn't age since the last time he saw him or that he was weilding the lightsaber he helped destroy just a few scenes earlier. Fuck, I'm really upset about this movie. I walked out talking to my friend like it was dope but I have so many issues with it after thinking about it.

Captain Phasma is the new Boba Fett but with less lines. I thought they were trying to kill the past but they want to hold on to atleast one Star Wars trope.

My first thought after every reveal or "twist" that was thrown at me was that the director KNEW what everyone was expecting but decided to throw in a HAHAHA YOU THOUGHT just to do something different. And that bugs me because it throws out alot of the mystery that TFA set up.

How the hell do we not get any mention of the Knights of Ren other than Kylo deciding to not kill off a few of the kids at the temple? Why didn't we get a more detailed view of what happened that night? Was Snoke in contact with Kylo before those events? How did he meet Kylo? Who the fuck is Snoke?! How the hell didn't he sense a lightsaber moving right next to him if he is so powerful he can force choke someone from a hologram? Alot of this stuff doesn't really make sense and just seems like a cheap shot at shock value and not give us a liitle explanation to a lot of stuff that we've seen in TFA. These movies don't seem connected at all.

I was expecting Luke to take out those AT-STs and I was so hoping he was, but everything just did not turn out how I expected or wanted them to. That should be a good thing though, I don't want a movie to be to predictable but it just seems... weird and off. Why did Rose save Fin? Because of love, I laughed out loud when he kissed him and Fin just looked at her with confusion. I don't know why the First Order didn't just blast them to death. Instead they just watched them... the First Order is a joke.

I came out of the movie pretty disappointed. I mean, it was a good movie, but I expected so much more than this after 2 years. So many questions left unanswered. I might need a second viewing but I genuinely left the theater disappointed.

I loved the Ren and Rey team up though. Highlight of the movie, fur sure.
