Stock's up more than 3 x since the merger still.... if anyone listened to you and shorted ATVI stock in the past 10 years they would have gone broke trying to do so.

Like if they took your advice in 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017... it would have been horrible advice. And I don't work for Blizzard, just saying that for the majority of this decade they've been doing great.

I think the Splatoon games are a really good example. Splatoon 2 pretty much has everything the original did in a sleeker package. But Splatoon 1 knocked me square on my ass. I don't think a Nintendo game impressed and surprised me to that extent since, like... Pikmin? Super Mario 64?

From a practical standpoint, Splatoon 2 is the one you'd play in December 2018, but to claim that it's 100% better sells Splatoon 1 short of the sheer magic it made out of thin air. I can't not love it more, I'm only human.

Right, Splatoon was an original, innovative game that started in this decade. So it is possible.

I know I'm going to be in the minority on this, but I don't like how mainstream the game is. How family-friendly, feel-good, and safe it is. How there's "awwww that's cool" stories like this about the game:

You'll say I'm anti-fun, but to me a good game needs some edge. That's what is missing to me in the new Smash game. It's a very tolerable, acceptable game that seemed to make every possible effort not to offend fans or any particular group.(besides no Waluigi).

Or maybe I'm just jaded about video games. Little kids love the game.

My favorite smash game is 64, followed by melee.

I think it's decent, but lacking in innovation. It felt a lot like Smash 4.

I also hate when they do those "slow-down" killing blows.

The Midgar level is so sick though. That's my one positive.

We are wasting so much time and energy over trivial stuff instead of actually enjoying life
I know I gave up on this a few years ago when there was a ad here for Infant Formula and it only showed white babies and then suddenly the Internet in Israel raged that they don't show ethiopian babies as well
And it just...I just sat there in front of my computer, trying to understand how their mindset work
When I see something, a ad or anything, I want to see it for what it is, not trying to create a conspiracy theory and complain about representation (obviously you can't please anyone)
And I just gave up. Some people will just try to ruin everything. They will only see the bad in things, and if there aren't any, they will make something up
