I'd consider rejecting because this locks me out of things I would consider doing in the future (running for office, writing for money, etc.), but then I realize that with enough money I could do those things in my massive amount of free time for free. Also, I think it's at least reasonable to believe that I'll make a decent amount of money in my eventual career, so I should offset that as well.

Hmm...$20 million.

Also, as to this case itself, my immediate suspicion is that this will exacerbate certain annoying trends in gaming. Since it will now be even harder for companies to make money off of direct game sales, expect to see more DLC sales tied directly to accounts that will be harder to sell.

The fact that convicted felons in the USA aren't allowed to vote doesn't mean that voting isn't a right (in the context of the way in which the government of the USA works). It means that the USA is in violation of the UDHR.

And nobody cares because the UDHR is a meaningless feel-good statement by an impotent organization and not an act by a government.

Catholic Mass only takes 45 when there are fewer people due to less music, shorter Eucharist and so forth. An hour is more standard though.

I never did manage to beat Banjo-Kazooie. The last boss was pretty tough for a platformer, or maybe it's just because I was 10.

I've had some issues getting it to work with GTA San Andres (namely, the camera keeps moving uncontrollably) but that could be an issue with the game or with my particular controller.

Golden Sun was fun for a bit, but it was blatantly half a game with a horrible "to be continued..." moment at the end.

This is the other half, bro, which is way longer and stuff.

Hmmm...I probably should grab the ReBirths before the shop goes down. Then, once the WiiU comes out the prices on Wii games should finally collapse and I can pick up the huge swath of games I missed because they've always been so expensive (I don't pay more than 20 bucks for games).

The GBA remakes of FF1/2 didn't have any impact on later numbering of the FF series. There is absolutely no reason either of the barebones DS remakes would either.

That's because all of the Final Fantasy games are actually numbered; numbering FE games is just a fan shorthand as none of them are actually numbered.

Time to start thanking Intelligent Systems for Super Metroid instead.

Well, Intelligent Systems *is* pretty much the best game development team ever. Aside from SM, Advance Wars, and Fire Emblem, they also made the Paper Marios, Tetris Attack/Pokemon Puzzle League, and rather randomly Mario Kart Super Circuit.

Wait is he actually complaining about ED being hard.

Because my biggest issue with the game was that it felt almost mindlessly easy. You can cast spells to restore sanity and health, and you recharge magic by WALKING, for god's sake.

Man this reminds me of how I really dislike the social policies because they all progress linearly. Like, in Civ IV you could have a theocracy all game and it has various benefits/costs, but in this game you're just gimping yourself if you stop there and don't head towards free religion.
