What do you get from doing those fort condor games? I did two and continued the story.

You get that area's Protorelic when you beat all 4. And getting all the protorelics unlocks an optional area with some of the hardest fights in the game, including the game's superboss.

Those are probably just mini Weapons that probably just naturally protect the planet, with Emerald/Diamond/Ruby/Sapphire only coming out when the planet is truly on the verge of destruction.

For me, it was the simple fact that Arya - a girl previously praised for her intelligence by one of the most intelligent lords in Westeros (all while successfully hiding her identity from said lord), who was able con a professional assassin into doing her bidding - was so monumentally stupid as to be walking around Braavos undisguised in broad daylight after having just pissed off a group of world-renowned shapeshifting murderers, with very predictable results.

Par for the course with their writing. They completely forgot how to write intelligent characters after season 4. Case in point Tyrion + Littlefinger making idiotic decisions and Varys sitting around not doing anything.

It's a really good thing Tywin died in season 4 so they couldn't butcher him too.

Probably not he worst (there were so many problems that it's hard to pick 1), but still worth a mention: turning Euron Greyjoy into a frat boy jock.

Worst for me would probably be the character assassinations of the Lannister bros. They spent all that time building Jamie up as if he was going to completely turn against Cersei, only to have him go crawling back to her. Then with Tyrion, he suffered the same fate as Varys + Littlefinger where they didn't know how to write the exceptionally smart characters and had them making dumb decisions constantly.

Yeah, Bard is a great choice. With the subclasses you can either go Lore Bard if you want a support caster or Swords Bard if you want a weapon oriented combatant (there's also Valor Bard, but it's pretty much worse than Swords Bard, and if you want the shield access it gives you'd be better off taking a 1 level dip into Cleric). Plus you get access to much more skills/skill expertise than just about any other class aside from maybe Rogue.

The other Charisma classes would also be good picks since you're probably going to want your character to be the party face, and all of them get access to either Persuasion or an adjacent skill to it.

It was a solid 8/10 for me, so it's a yay from me.

I pretty much only play IC and Silent these days.

That's pretty much what I do too. Aside from when I can get a Frost + Focus heavy deck going, I usually don't really enjoy playing as the Defect. And while I like the Watcher, I rarely play as her these days because I feel she's makes the game too easy more often than not.

Move over Silksong, this is now my most anticipated game. Especially since it will probably be out before Silksong lol.

Never quit the series permanently, but i did stop playing Dark Souls 1 for a time without beating it because I accidentally hit Andre, didn't want to amass the crazy amount of souls it would have taken to make him passive again, and didn't want to restart all the way over again. I eventually went back in and beat it though.

Isabella and Merrill from Dragon Age 2 (also had brief appearances in Origins).

Lae'zel, Shadowheart, Karlach, Minthara, and Mizora from Baldur's Gate 3.

Rock was better in the WWE as both a performer and at cutting promos. Dave is much better outside of the WWE though.

Depends on the game.

Like games that are somewhat linear in how you build your characters and such, I likely won't immediately replay. Games like BotW/TotK and Sekiro I only played through once then moved on to the next game since I didn't feel a reason to go back into it. Meanwhile games like Baldur's Gate 3 and Cyberpunk I immediately went back into for a 2nd (and 2 more after that in BG3's case) playthrough since there were other builds I wanted to play with and had different choices I could make.

Granted, there are some rare cases where I'll replay through a linear game if they give me a good reason to do so. Like RE4 Remake I replayed multiple times because you unlocked new things by beating the game a certain way, and I did 1 or 2 easier runs to unlock items that would make the "S+ on Pro difficulty" run less stressful to go through.

it hits the main story beats. Corel. Junon. Gold Saucer. Cosmo canyon. It also extends some such as gongara.

the last main area of the game is the temple of the ancients with a small final section at the forgotten capital where... you know what... happens.

The main divergence from the OG is the last chapter. I dont really understand it enough to explain it accurately. Ill just say multiple worlds / time lines. Aeris is dead but not dead. Zack makes an appearance. Sephiroth transcends this world and you some how battle him across multiple time lines at once.

oh and at the end no one can see Aerith but cloud. Is she dead and hes imagining it? Is she a ghost only cloud can see? Who knows. Find out more in part three!

To add to this, they do skip Rocket Town. Cid shows up earlier though, as about midway through you he helps you get to the last few areas of the game.

I wouldn't mind them sticking to the BotW/TotK style, but I want it on a brand new map. I didn't mind TotK reusing the BotW map and adding to it, but I would hate it if they did it a 3rd time. Either it needs to be in a new time period, or take us out of Hyrule and into the other landmass that you can see on the western portion of the map.

Of the 3 I've played through completion (7 and the remakes, 9, and 15), it's 7 for me. Especially since the remakes changed my opinions of Barret and Aerith (who I didn't really care for in the original, but loved them in the remakes).

All the heads of Shinra that you were able to kill in FF7. Especially Hojo.

PS4 Spiderman (haven't played the 2nd one so I don't have an opinion on that one). It's probably the only open world game where I never touched the fast travel because of how fun it was to traverse the city.

If I could get by on animal/fish blood? Then yeah, I'd be down for it.

If it has to be human blood though, I'd have to decline. I wouldn't want to have to risk ruining other people's lives just for me to be able to live/retain my sanity.

I've been convinced for a long tome that Kenneth Copeland is a demon wearing human skin.

MLB since it's the only one where the woman wouldn't have to worry about being hit or pushed around by some 250 lb guy. I mean, it still has moments of physical play, but that happens far less often than it does in the other 3 league, even the NBA.

Currently playing it, and I'm close to that scene from the original game.

Monks tend to favor a lot of different stats, but I would say you should respec that 14 con into Wisdom. Barbarians get unarmored defense based on Con, but Monks get it based on their Wisdom. Otherwise the 10 int is useful to not be cooked by saving throws

Charisma also isn't super useful on a monk if you're trying to be min maxy but if it's a party face I think it's a great choice!

Also tag. Don't listen to anyone else this game fucking bangs. I have about 200 hours in it and the end is nowhere in sight

To add onto this, I'd also drop INT down to 8 since it's pretty much a useless stat for most classes (Wizard and maybe Arcane Trickster rogues + Eldritch Knight fighters being the only exceptions) and there's very few saving throws that require INT, so it's the go to dump stat for most classes.

You can steal the gold back from the person that let's you respec your character without any repercussions, so don't worry if you make mistakes when building your character.

Try to have your stats at even numbers, as going from an even numbered stat to an odd numbered one doesn't actually provide any sort of boost (for example having 17 Charisma is basically the same as having 16 Charisma, and you'll only see a boost if you were to get up to 18 Charisma). That said, there are some feats (which are new passives you get at every 4 levels of every class aside from fighter and rogue, which get a bonus feat at level 6 for fighter and level 9 for rogue) that provide a +1 to a certain stat alongside another effect, so if you're planning on using one of those feats for a character, it's fine to leave the stat it boosts at an odd number when setting your level 1 stats.
