Best case scenario is it'll be only slightly better than The Calisto Protocol but Bloober Team really doesn't spark rooting confidence in people anymore since stopping short is their MO.

Which was made with a year old build and even the Bloober Team CEO condemned that trailer.

It's coming soon. Seems that the leaked September release date on the anniversary of the original game's release is accurate.

I have a good friend who is a high school teacher and he's continually astonished by how frequently his coworkers complain about their job. He had a prior career before that, so he has a much better sense of what the rest of the working world is like so it bugs him.

Both.

I just wanted to try something outside of education because I had already been working with kids for 10 years.

And our current educational system is broken beyond repair. For example, I have to give every kid a 50, even if I've never seen the kid before. Then, if they fail the course, they can just do Credit Recovery online (all the answers are on the internet too), click through the entire course in 2 weeks, and then still pass. Just felt meaningless at times, I guess.

I had great admins though. They were awesome.

Yep. I was planning that trip since October. I went to Scotland, England, and Ireland. It was my first time out of the U.S. It was awesome. Spent my 29th birthday over there.

I didn't realize how easy i had it at my school. I only taught 12th grade (so 3 sections of English 4 a semester; usually 1 standard, 1 inclusion, 1 honors).

What's crazy is that after I calculated my salary at this job ($57,000) compared to my teaching job ($47,000), I still had basically the same amount of money because the insurance from this private company was so expensive.

I took Mathematical Concepts in college but that was more of a theory class than doing actual math.

Got laid off from my Copywriter job on March 5th after only being employed for 10 months. Moved to this crappy town (company paid for it). Company gave me 8 weeks of severance pay.

I previously spent 4 years teaching high school English but I wanted to try something new.

Been applying non-stop since then. Not a single interview. Just a few rejections.

Shit, I'm thinking about just going back to teaching at this point but it's in the middle of the school year, so not a lot of positions. At least I'll never have to worry about being laid off.

Just sucks man. I feel like I lost part of my identity. And I'm dating someone in this town now too and we live together, so it's a discussion on if I'm leaving this town or staying and if we're gonna make it work.

FF12 is a dogshit game, with one of the weakest soundtracks to boot.

It was a really shady company anyway. (A casino game company.)

We had over 40 layoffs since January 2nd. The CMO quit right before I got laid off. Apparently, the CEO just let him do whatever for a year and they actually hated everything he did, including wanting a Copywriter. So, I kinda got purged with him.

Hell, they didn't even let me sign anything. They just did it.

I'm in talks with the CEO and head of HR to pay the rest of my lease in addition to my severance, because I can't even apply for an apartment or anything without proof of income.

Well I actually am from NC and I just moved to another town in NC.

This vacation is mt first time outside the U.S.

I'm currently in England and traveling to Dublin. I already had this vacation planned for months. (I'm from NC, to clarify.)

But I was laid off last Tuesday unexpectedly from my Copywriter job in marketing for a casino game company.

The CEO himself is the one that told me.

They're giving me 8 weeks of severance pay and I'm discussing the possibility of them paying out the lease on my apartment.

Problem is I'm dating someone right now, and it's difficult to imagine things working if I leave this town. (They paid for me to relocate to that town after they hired me.)

I was a teacher for 4 years, so I could go back to that for a while, but man, this sucks. I was only there for 10 months and I was remote 4 days a week.

Feels bad, man.

TC, there is a book called Help, my apartment has a kitchen that is a really good starter cookbook. I used it in college, and I just sent my oldest off to college with it (latest updated version) . Really simple recipes that are actually good.

My Mom is a great cook who taught me how to cook at a young age, and I still found it very useful. Cooking is fun!

When making most regular meals there isn't a whole lot to learn if you can read. Just look up a recipe and follow the directions. If you can google you can cook. Eventually you'll get a feel for ingredients and be able to make your own recipes.

Baking on the other hand can be more complex. There's less room for error.

Yeah, I'm realizing that now. I just seem to never be able to get the internal temperature right.

As much as people don't like trump, he can't possibly be "last." James Buchanan holds that distinct privilege. He literally did nothing or possibly even encouraged a civil war. You can argue trump tried to do that, but the fact is it didn't work and there wasn't an actual, all out, brother-vs-brother war between states during the trump administration.

Probably lower quartile but last is just politicking.

Andrew Johnson, Buchanan, and Trump are almost universally considered the bottom 3 presidents in history by people that know their history.

Blooper's job is developing, not marketing.
If they actually guve the marketing team the "new build", then the marketing team would make a good video of it if it's really good.

This is just making it obvious that there was never a new build before that video, they're ashamed that their combat system are mocked by everyone, and trying to deflect the blame.
Bet they're working their ass off right now at rhis moment to make this "new build" into reality.

They didn't give them that combat footage. It was footage that Konami already had.

This is 100% on Bloober. They gave Konami footage on old build, then of course Konami made a trailer based on that one.

They probably gave them new footage, they wanted combat footage, so Konami mashed together what they already had to make a combat trailer.

Hating in Konami is understandable, but white knighting Blooper because of it is laughable.

Konami seems to have just gotten old footage and thrown together a trailer for the hell of it.

It's clear Konami and Bloober are not on good terms anymore.

Seems like the PC version is only a few months away this time.

But I would never recommend buying a console for 1 game. Look at other PS5 "exclusives" to see if you're interested in any of those.

It's gonna be very hard to avoid spoilers for that long though.

If you think you'd use your PS5 for some other stuff, go for it.

The whole point was to make Harry's death seem like an accident, that he died in the tournament.

Voldemort wanted to return in secrecy so that he could keep the element of surprise while he regained strength.

The plan failed, since Harry got away and warned Dumbledore, no less.

But it made sense to stage an accident, with an inside man.

This is explained in the book. Can people not read?

A lot of fans did not read the books.

But yeah, the books add a ton to the lore. But J.K. Rowling sure does love her Deus Ex Machinas.

Nah. Most people consider Half-Blood Prince a top 3 book, along with Prisoner of Azkaban and Deathly Hallows.

For the movies? Goblet of Fire is the one that gets shit upon constantly. But I HATE Order of the Phoenix. It's such a slog to get through, both movie and book.

I would also say Half-Blood Prince is the second best movie behind Deathly Hallows Part 2.
