After reading some glowing reviews, it still didn't interest me enough to want to try it. But since it came up on PS+, thought I'd give it a whirl.

It's not brilliant, but aside from getting lost every now and then, I'm having a great time with it.

I really liked World's End, and the whole theme of looking back on your younger days hit a particular nerve for me, but the story seemed a bit slapped together at times.

Hot Fuzz was just too entertaining to not be my favourite.

I have a mental image of the Pillsbury Proud Boys trying to start shit, the military turning on them once new pres is sworn in, then the majority of them slinking back into the ooze of obscurity from whence they came, with a small number putting up a valiant but hilariously brief fight.

Played both sequences with a friend at the same time.

He played one disc while i played the other. We set up two TVs next to each other in the same room, each with their own console, pulled a couch up and tried to keep up with each other.

We tried to match room for room wherever possible, and even waited to do the boss fights at the same time.

Really quite interesting doing it that way, i would recommend.

New Zealand did a much better job as they closed down borders and shut down for a couple of weeks from basically any sign of COVID.

IIRC, it was a month at the highest level of lockdown, and maybe another before things went closer to normality than a complete shutdown.
