Had to get the bottom ones out as they were half-impacted. The top ones still give me no trouble.

Had local anaesthetic to save on the cost, so I was awake for the process, and dentist had to split them to get them out. The buzzing of the extraction tools ringing through my skull was unnerving, but overall it was not as big a deal as I expected it to be.

There was a little bit of aching during recovery, and the mouth being coated with dried blood after day one was unpleasant, but the worst part was weeks of soft food only. Seemed easy at first, but by the end I was desperate for food that had crunch.

In the years before the extraction, I was getting excruciating nerve pains in my face whenever I got sick (gum infections), so I do NOT regret having them out.

Haven't played it, but from watching others play, it looks like a game that would have been unacceptable two generations earlier.

Was really enjoying the first one, but for reasons unrelated to the game, I didn't quite finish it.

Some games you can just jump in and do your thing, and the atmosphere and setting is a nice-to-have.

IMO, this is not one of those games.

I had to be in the right mood to play it, as I could only enjoy it while I was totally absorbed in everything going on. And I really did sink into it.

As a general rule, I've found that any article headline starting with the word "Why" and not ending in an actual question = complete waste of time.

I started with that one. After going back and reading the earlier ones, I don't regret it.

I've liked others since (especially when relating to the Night Watch) and before though.

For me, the golden era was Pyramids, Guards! Guards!, Moving Pictures and Reaper Man.

Can't say I've enjoyed the AC series as much as I was supposed to.

Great concept, but I've never been sold on the setting, a lot of the extensive customisation options just don't seem worth it, and the gameplay always seemed a bit fiddly and (one way or another) over all too soon.

Hearing their next project was going back to AC game was a bit of a 'Peggle 2!' moment for me.

I know others love AC, so good for them getting their kind of game. Not every game has to be for me. But it'll take a lot of high praise and glowing reviews for me to try it before a significant price drop.

In a game where she is consistently referred to as Aeris, that's what I'll call her.

In anything where she is consistently referred to as Aerith, I'll call her that.

As far as which name I prefer, I have no preference either way, they're both fine.

If you want to see what the right is going to do next, just look at whatever they were outraged about last week and add a touch of hypocrisy.

It's understandable if you prefer doing something a certain way because it's the way you're used to doing it.

But claiming it's the better way of doing it on that basis alone is ridiculous.
