Supposedly, millennial is anyone born in 1982 onward to some other year. Because they turn 18 in the year 2000, the word "millennial" is used. The dates seem really arbitrary to me though. Like, I guess the cutoff year could be 1997 to make every generation 15 years, but why would you start the generation in 1982? Wouldn't it be easier to track if it were 1980 or 1985?

I just got a Switch for Smash Ultimate later in December (still mindblown and confused that Cloud is in it).

Starcraft 2 is getting a new co-op commander. Kerrigan, Nova, and Zagara are still the best commanders, imo.

Dota is getting patch 7.20 (I will miss the ****posts anticipating the patch though).

Artifact (Valve card game, based on Dota lore) is coming later this month.

Fire Emblem Heroes just got Aether Raids last night (THIS IS THE BEST MODE EVER).

I wish I were still into Pokemon because Pokemon Let's Go is coming out next week. But I kinda got tired of it after Sun and Moon, which makes me a little sad honestly.

I've mostly been playing Tales of Symphonia lately while waiting.

Edit: OH YEAH, And Warcraft 3 Reforged is coming!

They've definitely gotten faster (with BW/BW2 being the fastest, I think). Not sure how Sun and Moon compare.

I've completed the original Blue (aside from Mew), X (with X having a livingdex), and OmegaRuby (though that was kinda cheating because I just transferred a bunch of Pokemon from my livingdex in X to OmegaRuby). Haven't been able to get into the new ones after X.

Super Mario Maker is amazing.

Some of the levels people make are ridiculously awesome. I really enjoy the puzzle and boss ones. I suck at the advanced platforming levels though.

Here's a cool video about the nuclear waste problem:



If you don't want to watch, there's a nuclear waste facility being built in Finland, where earthquakes and other natural disasters do not occur (as to not damage the facility). The idea is to store nuclear waste for a long long time. It'll begin operation in 2020 and be sealed in 2120. Though one of the problems is keeping out curious people from the future, so the people building the thing are gonna leave an ominous message in several different languages hoping to deter people from disturbing the site (though if you hear the message in the video, it sounds like it'd make you MORE curious). They're also gonna include some illustrations/emojis in case none of those languages live long enough.

A lot of people have actually asked if Thanos snapped himself to death. Some people say he did get picked, but the soul stone saved him. Which means he technically did not wipe half the universe.

As for why he didn't just create more resources, he was already wiping half the population of the planets he came across before acquiring the infinity gauntlet. It'd be unfair for him to suddenly double the resources while leaving all the people he killed dead. Doubling resources would also mean increasing planet sizes, which could cause issues itself.

But he probably didn't think of all that.
